Dined here last night. The setting is so cozy. The land lady was most welcoming. Ate from the €50 menu for three courses. There is also a 3 course for €40. Both menus were very well structured. I had the best rare rib eye ever. Wine menu while short had something for every taste/budget. Would I return? Most definitely. I...

My partner and I truely enjoyed our stay at the Wild Honey Inn. It is the total package of comfortable stylish rooms, impeccable service, delicious food, all in a simple non-fussy atmospere. The Wild Honey Inn provides the comfort of a good hotel combined with the social warmth of staying with friends.

We stayed here for a long three night weekend and it was perfect, really exceeding our expectations. The set up is exceptional. Beautifully decorated, characterful hotel with well appointed, very comfortable rooms. Great beds and bedding, wooden floors with antique rugs, nice bathrooms and toiletries. Lovely garden and so peaceful. We slept really well. When we woke the breakfasts were superlative. Local...

Relieved to see another realistic review of this 'restaurant' I'm not sure how it received previously glowing reports as that's not the same experience of anyone who lives in the locality. I have eaten there three times. Sometimes in a group and other times as a couple. The service is okay though there seems to be a terror of the...

This place has been so highly rated in the media that I booked the restaurant for 5 girlfriends for a special birthday. The dining room is part of the bar area, but very tasteful, comfortable and great background music. Two set menus and it was not possible to choose one dish only. Two had lamb (two different cuts per dish),...

Nice weekend spent here. Room was rustic as in keeping with the building. Liked it a lot - very comfortable. Ensuite a bit small - but I guess, again, of its time. Loved the guest chill-out / reading room - good for a book rummage while absorbing pre-dinner drinks. Or post- breakfast digestion. Dined here several months previously and had...

This is a small hotel with a separate restaurant located just outside Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare. The place is easy to find. Signage to the hotel on the approach roads is very good. Parking is very convenient. The restaurant opens at 6pm ( 5 pm in summer I believe). It is not possible to book a meal in advance. The restaurant...

I had the time of my life while visiting Lisdoonvarna; and, The Wild Honey Inn was the perfect "home" from which base my visit. Kate has a natural gift for creating a warm, comforting environment for guests to this lovely inn. The house is very clean and invitingly decorated. Kate has excellent taste! The magnificent culinary treats coming out of...

We stayed here for 2 nights last week and had a fantastic time. It's a charming, traditional Inn with delicious food. Super location for visiting The Burren and The Cliffs of Mohor. We dined on both evenings and had a fantastic experience, the food is among the best I've had. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. We stayed on the...
