We were supposed to stay the night in Atlantic View B&B but, in their error, we didn't have a booked room there so, Eileen (the manager) called Suzanne over at Fernhill Farm B&B. Suzanne set us up in a nice room and was very friendly.

Susanne was an amazing host. We made the reservations the day we arrived and she accommodated us so very well. As there were six of us and only two rooms, she even set up a bed for me in the parlor and put curtains on the windows and door for privacy. She went above and beyond for us. The breakfast... More

How I wish I had read reviews. When we arrived we were shown a room for 2 people for a single bed. We showed the email confirming 2 beds ensuite. We were told that Ireland b and b was the culprit. The room we got was twin beds 2 feet apart and a dirty bathroom in the hallway to share... More

If you want a place without noise, book a room here! there is a tearoom with fridge you can use 24/7, a lovely breakfast and the lady of the house can tell you where to go best. it is just a short drive from the cliffs and the ferry to Inisheer and the Burren, so perfectly located.

This is an unexpected almost-Manor House set seemingly-far away in rural Ireland. Lovely vintage home and furnishings. QUIET comfy room with a lovely vantage! Nice full breakfast included, service good as well.

We spent the third night of our road trip at the Fernhill, and it was very clear that our stay there would be one of the most treasured memories of the entire trip. We had booked our double en-suite the night before, and upon arrival were welcomed by a very charming young lady who gave us a very beautiful room... More

Suzanne, the owner, was so lovely to me and went out of her way to make us have the most amazing experience. I told her how much it reminded me of exactly what you would think about when you picture Ireland! Picturesque, quaint, and cozy. Everything you would desire and expect when staying in the beautiful Co. Clare!

I went with three others to 'Fernhill Farmhouse' again in October and everyone was more than pleased with the spacious rooms and country-charm of the accommodation, but even more pleased with the warm welcome we received from Susanne. Two of us travelers were familiar with 'Fernhill Farmhouse' but two had never been. I have to say the two two had... More

Breakfast, spacious relaxing atmosphere and friendliness were pluses. Also pleasant, mostly traffic free , walking along the Burren Way on the doorstep. Also nice view from bedroom. Unprofessional check-in. Polyester bedclothes , musty odour , dated fabric of building speak from the past when many B&Bs were like this . It all makes one wonder how clean the place actually... On the road to the farmhouse we were "greeted" by two cows and a calf herded by a Border Collie-ish dog and a couple of other folks tending the herd. What a great way to welcome us to this bucolic setting! If you like remote, peaceful surroundings with breathtaking scenery, this is the place to be. There is nothing fancy... More
