Have eaten at the Boat Inn many times and it is always good. Nice selection on menu - should have something to suit all. Nice kids menu. I particularly like the burger, which is great quality, tabbouleh salad and the tuna/sweetcorn melt on sourdough bread. We also tried the battered squid with great chili mayo on the side (nice &...

This past March, my friends and I decided to bike from Galway to Connemara National Park. On the way there, we stopped at many towns to restock on food and water. We stopped at the Boat Inn, and we were welcomed with open arms. The food was wonderful, and they were very helpful with bus schedules. Even though we went...

Managed to book this fab little spot last minute! Price is fantastic, for an Inn I was surprised I had a bath in my bathroom! Everything was spotlessly clean! Special mention to Pat Mannion(heard a local calling him)for sorting out a minor mix up with my room, even though it was kicking out time at the bar! Also seen the...

Others had the Seafood chowder or soup of the day with salads. Also excellent! Lastly was the pan fried sea bass, not Chilean sea bass, but very good. The Boat Inn is...

For a good value, the Boat Inn a super spot for a stop. The food is reasonably priced with tasty meals, the vegetarian option is tasty. The premises are cosy and comfortable. I would recommend a stay its location is good for fishermen or ramblers.

Good wifi, lattes, food, and atmosphere. And it's right in the center of the village or Oughterard, Co. Galway. Staff was very nice and accommodation. Other guests and patrons were friendly and from various places, including local. We had dinner here one night and the food was very good in both quality, taste, and presentation. There was a wedding party...

Stopped here for food and a pitstop. Really helpful staff took our food order which was promptly served outside where we were sitting. Good food and beer would call here if in the area again. Tip for you, watch out for the traffic warden re parking. We saw there was a car park down the hill from the pub so...
