A lovely first leg of my 30 day journey in Ireland. I spent 4 nights at Gleann-na-Smol and wish I could have made it back there before leaving for home. The staff, Sean, Paul, Maggie and Maggie's husband (sorry, can't remember his name), were gracious, welcoming, accommodating and felt like old chums! Sean was more than kind to drive me...

Lovely bnb located up the hill from the harbour. Just a short walk into town or to the dart station. Very hospitable and nice host who cooked up a lovely breakfast in the morning. Sounds like the place came under a bit of criticism for cleanliness from other reviews about a year or more ago but it must have been...

We stayed in Howth just for a night and had a brilliant time. After getting the 20 minute train from the centre of Dublin, the B&B was a pleasant ten minute walk from the station. We were greeted by Séan on arrival, shown to our very clean, cosy rooms and advised on the best restaurants and pubs in Howth. The...

I checked into this b&b on the recommendation of a friend as my house was getting rewired and I needed to move out. From the moment we arrived Sean went out of his way to accommodate us. Recommending places to eat and things to do in Howth. The house is very cosy and has a lovely charm to it. The...

Howth is a small village where u can arrive by train or by bus if you travel from Dublin. The bus stop is 5 min walking from the hostel and the train 15 minutes. This Guesthouse is very welcoming and cosy, since we arrived Mr Sean was very kind and helpful and since the weather was not very good he...

We had a wonderful time in Howth. Sean took great care of us and have us good tips for our visits to Dublin. He also drove us to the train several times. Our only recommendation is that water pressure in the shower be fixed.

Not luxurious but extremely good value and excellent breakfast. Sean the host was kind enough to pick me up from station. 102 bus to airport recommended, as is Eye of Island boat trip, an excellent unprentious place to stay.

We stayed two nights at Gleann-na-Smol during our three week trip around Ireland. We chose Houth as our home base for exploring Dublin as we didn't want to hassle with driving. Paul greeted us warmly and pointed out things to do and see in this quaint little harbor town and how to get to the Dart, which is just downtown....

B&B's can be a real gamble. In this case you are provided with a warm welcome, a clean room with daily service, a comfortable bed, a hearty breakfast with lots of Irish chatter, Wifi that worked for us, access to the room throughout the day, and the Abbey Tavern as your local. Considering there are no hotels in Howth, only...

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. I was offered tea as soon as I arrived, and they did everything they could to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, and the restroom was very large and roomy. Everything was very clean. I wasn't able to stay for breakfast, but I very much enjoyed my stay.
