We had a fantastic stay here. If only more hotels would be like this. Every single member of staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We cannot praise the staff enough. We have travelled the world and the attention of staff can only be compared to staff in a five star hotel in Thailand. The hotel itself was lovely and comfortable... More

We stayed at the Lady Gregory for three nights this past weekend. We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant and the small town of Gort. This was a good spot for us to enjoy the area - although I will warn that the road the GPS suggests from here to the Doolin area made me fear for my life for 20... More

A good friend and myself stayed for 3 nights here. We ate in the bar where the food was very good and the staff were excellent, very helpful and attentive to any request. The Sunday carvary had plenty of choices and was very good value. The room we had was clean and tidy if a bit tired looking. The only... More

I booked this hotel for a three night B&B stay, being joined on nights 2 & 3 by a friend. We arrived 9.30pm and checked in. The kettle was not working. I phoned reception & asked for a replacement. They didn't have another kettle but would sent up a flask of hot water. The flask arrived, luckily I poured some... More

I recently stayed at the Lady Gregory Hotel when doing business in Gort. Have to say that the corporate rate that i paid for my stay was exceptional value. The rate included B&B + dinner. The food in the bar and restaurant was excellent. The staff were very helpful and professional. The rate also included full use of the leisure... More

Stayed for one night over the bank holiday weekend with my 6 year old daughter. Room was fine, well equipped, bathroom a little dated, with towel rail rusted. Went for food in the evening. Place was busy so cleared my own table, waited but no sign of any staff. After 15 mins went and got my own menu from end... More

My daughter reserved a quiet family room when she recently attended a wedding. She had her infant son and her toddler daughter and husband with her. I attended to the children in the evening when the parents were at the wedding reception. It was my daughter's first real break since giving birth 3 months previously. They travelled from London to... More

As a break with the family for the long weekend we went to the lady Gregory. From check in to check out it was a very pleasant experience. Breakfast on Sunday was super delightful buffet. I enjoyed the yogurt the most. On Monday you ordered and your wish was their command. Great food. Facilities. The 34 minute distance from Galway... More

Always wary of three star hotels I was very pleasantly surprised on arrival at the Lady Gregory. I was to be Shannon 7.30 the following morning and all local hotels were booked out because of the rugby match, spreading my search further I found this hotel. I arrived at 8.45 pm, just in time for last food orders in the... More
