The experience I had with the owner of this country house has ticked every box in the manual of 'how not to run a business'. I originally contacted Bred in mid November to book the full house for my sisters' hen party in late February- recommended by a friend as a nice place for a quiet hen. As my sister...

We stayed in Ballyduff House in order to attend a wedding in another nearby location. From the very first moment of meeting the owner we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Greeted by being invited to join her for tea and biscuits set the tone for a very memorable two night stay. Nothing was too much bother, the...

My wife, two adult daughters and I stayed here for three nights. This is a marvelous bed and breakfast with an ambience and setting that is incomparable. Ballyduff house is an estate belonging to Brede Thomas. She has previous experiences in the hospitality industry and it shows in her care of her patrons. This is her home, and along with...

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ballyduff House, the drive up to the house is just the beginning of a restful and comfortable stay, Brede is a most welcoming lady and runs her home with her happy and helpful staff, the history of the fox hunt is evident all through the house even the stirrup cups as an ornament at...

Perfect place in the heart of the Irish countryside. An impressive setting in a beautiful location. We felt like lord and lady of the manor. Service was excellent, place was spotlessly clean, bed was perfect and breakfast was amazing. Don't miss this gem!

We had a wonderful stay at beautiful Ballyduff House. From the moment we arrived Brede made us feel welcome and completely at home. Actually better than home, a real treat. The house is lovely and our room overlooking the river was my idea of a perfect bedroom. A very good breakfast followed by a walk around the beautiful grounds finished...

We stayed two nights in October and had a wonderful stay. The charming house was a beautiful country setting, the fall leaves were turning and we were fortunate with good weather. Brede, the owner is a fascinating woman and very friendly. Tea and cookies in the library by the fireplace was a treat and listening to the history of the...

We stayed here last summer and it is a treat. Lovely to see once again in autumn too. A place to escape busyness. You will experience a very warm welcome in a beautiful, well looked after home which oozes character and every attention to detail met by the lady of the house. Can't fault it. A stay for all seasons....

The lady renting the apartment next door was so incredibly sweet, but after multiple emails waiting for the owner to unlock the building, we received no communication for 6 hours and couldn't check in. We had to drive 30 min to the city centre to find other accommodations night of. The grounds were gorgeous, but the owner was a no...
