Was lucky enough to stay in Grove House on an impromtu trip over the Christmas holidays. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the experience, and reccomend to anyone looking for some regal escapism in beautifuful West Cork! The house is stunning, and brimming with character, and Katarina made us feel wlecome and relaxed. Slept like a dream and woke up to...

We didn't really know what to expect from our visit to the Grove House, but we were pleasantly surprised on all fronts. Very honest and super comfortable accomodation, and really excellent food created by Ballymaloe trained Nico. Great Value, charming hostess Katarina, and a definitely "come again" experience. Absolutely nothing to criticise, so well done Grove House.

Friendly, warm staff and very good food. A good wine list and a fairly diverse menu. The house is old and lovely and the owners have done a great job of shaping it. It is comfortable yet distinctive and with a real lived-in ambiance. You feel as if you are in someone's home but way better than a B&B, for...

Can't say enough good things about our dinner last week at Grove House in Schull. It had been a few years since we were last there but Grove House is just as good as I remembered. Mouthwatering menu, great range to choose from and all beautifully cooked. It was really hard to choose each course - I loved the sound...

Stayed for two nights over the August weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Katarina is a wonderful hostess. We stayed in the Ross Room-it was spacious with 3 large windows and wonderful sea views. Comfortable bed-small bathroom but with good shower. Breakfast was served each morning from 8-11 in a lovely bright room. To start there was a choice of...

The proprietress and staff couldn't have been more helpful and during a friendly conversation with a staff member I discovered it is also dog friendly....

Grove House is listed as a guest house. We absolutely loved the place, the breakfasts & the sheer quirkiness. The owner Katerina & her son Nico who is the chef helped to make our stay in West Cork extremely memorable, as we met up with members of my partners family who had travelled to meet up in Schull. Grove House was originally built...
