The house is beautiful and historic, but the hostess Pam was the highlight of our stay. She made us tea as soon as we arrived and provided a fire to sit by in the evening. Her breakfast is by far the best we had in our three weeks of traveling. She went out of her way to make homemade gluten...

Beautiful old Victorian home within walking distance to the main street in Cobh. Pam went above and beyond for us by making homemade gluten free scones for my sister and I who have coeliacs. The scones and breakfast were absolutely delicious and by far the best breakfast we had in our 3 week trip in UK and Ireland. Pam built...

People always make the difference. Knockeven House is an absolute, gorgeous, historic yellow jewel (a citrine, perhaps?) tucked up on a hillside in Cobh. Pam is the proprietress and knocks Knockeven up to another level in terms of sheer hospitality. She greeted us at the door, took us into the parlor for a lovely chat with homemade tea and scones...

The best part of Knockeven House, is the gracious host who worked on getting us Heat and wifi in our room and offered to switch our room when heat was not working. The evening was not cold in our room and Pam supplied cozy, comfy blankets. My husband likes to sleep in cooler weather so we were both fine. Breakfast...

We had a hard time finding the house, as it is up a small road and into a long driveway - but once there it was rather breathtaking! Our host, Pamela, couldn't have been nicer. Because the desired front 2 rooms were booked our first night with a 2 couple group, we had to stay in one of the smaller...

Beautiful old stately home now a fabulous B&B. Pam is a wonderful hostess - very charming and informative about the entire area with a lot of great recommendations on what to do. She is wonderful, gracious and very engaging.

We did a last minute booking for Cobh and stumbled upon Knockeven house. The property was touch to find with our phone gps, but once we arrived, it was worth the confusion. Pam was very accommodating. She contacted a restaurant for us since we were a late arrival. Thanks to her, we received great treatment at the restaurant. It was...

Lovely, authentic house with a wonderful Hostess. A little hard to find unless you ask someone as our directions were not good from our travel advisor. We found it by asking with no problem. Great food, great rooms, very quiet. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants an upscale B&B to stay at.

Immediately felt at home with warm welcome from Pam. Very large room, furnished beautifully. Breakfasts offered everything from cereals and fruits to hot full Irish. We were very satisfied with our stay here and in Cobh.

Visit Knockeven and one of your memories will be Pam. She's a wonderful host with stacks of advice to help you make the most of your time in Cobh and surrounding areas. Knockeven is a large house beautifully furnished. The rooms are up a stately set of stairs. The bed we had was very comfortable and the room was a...
