The Waters Edge is a particular favourite of ours. We had a very pleasant overnight last weekend on a Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal basis. Parking is free and underneath the building, but it is limited, so cannot always be guaranteed. Check in was prompt and we got a very clean and comfortable room with a sea view. We dined... More

The room was adequate, and we slept well. The radiators are difficult to control and we ended up being hot all night. There is not elevator that I could see, so lugging the bags up the stair is a bit of a pain. The location is good and if you can get their parking underneath the hotel, that is super... More

With friends visiting down from Dublin they asked for a recommendation of where to stay overnight in Cobh. Having only had a very positive experience of dining in the WatersEdge, and from looking at other reviews we said try the WatersEdge and see how you get on. They were very pleased. Room was very nice and the staff couldn't have... More

If you wish an intimate, warm and picturesque break - look no further! Very well priced when booking through an Agency and excellent food, location and handy for a trip into Cork (station 1 minute away and City 25 minutes by train). Staff are attentive and helpful. Also, lots of attractions, including Fota Park Zoo nearby.

The hotel's location is very good being in town and next to the two Titanic exhibitions and close to the train station. Our bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable and the room had all we required including a kettle. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and our waiter was friendly and attentive. Do take the nearby train into... More

We have dinner and it was excellent, very good food and plenty of it. As I said pity we only stayed one... More

Street noise, hallway noise, doors closing noise, restaurant noise, traffic noise, mechanical system noises, pipes, and noises I can't even identify all night and morning long. It like trying to sleep in a nighttime factory. Otherwise the rooms are average size, with a couple of wing chairs, average beds with comforters. Adjustable heat. Nice long bathtub/shower. The sea view is... More
