Always stay here when working in Castletownbere, Nealie is fantastic and can never do enough for guests. Breakfast is good and hearty and available early (which is a huge plus compared to a lot of places). The beds are clean and crisp, comfortable, and warm. The showers are hot and powerful. Always look forward to having the home comforts when...

Beautiful, comfortable, warm and welcoming B&B with lovely pine architecture built by the proprietor himself. Mr. O'Sullivan is an excellent host. "I give you what you want!" We started our hike on the Beara Breifne trail here and loved it! Will be back again someday!

A lovely B&B just outside of the town (which, frankly was a little tight on room in most places). The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious; ours had a view of the mountains as well. Comfy bed, massive shower and lovely wooden decor. The host, Cornelius, was helpful in every way, from making it a relaxed check-in to his assistance...

Summer Hill is in walking distance to town where we found pubs and restaurants. Our room was quite small as was the bath and bed, but breakfast was well done and the host was super friendly and accommodating.

This b&b was clean, comfortable and in a good location close to the town. We had a good size room and en suite with comfy beds. We were offered a good choice of breakfast with almost everything you could think of. We will definitely return.

We had a double room with ensuite bathroom. The room overlooked the town and the host went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful sleep and were served a delicious, and very filling, breakfast in the morning. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful.

Mr Neillie O'Sullivan gave us our choice of rooms. We chose the larger room with a double and twin bed. Tea, coffee, hairdryer, TV & free wifi provided. It is a short 10-15 minute walk to town with several eateries. We stayed 3 days & frequented Murphy's each night for dinner. Breakfast at Summer Hill was a delicious spread of...

The rooms were all modern with everything you would want. The breakfasts were outstanding and large. It is just a little walk to downtown of this small Irish village. There are a number of good restaurants in downtown. This town has a real working fishing fleet as its main industry.

Stayed here for 2 nights whole touring the area. Neily was so friendly & welcoming it fekt like staying at an old friends home. Breakfast was a delicious cook to order and the location in walking distance to downtown.

Stayed at Summer Hill Bed & Breakfast one night while we were touring the rugged Beara Peninsula. The B&B is located about a fifteen minute casual walk from the very center of town, but you can walk to The Olde Bakery restaurant (a good choice) in ten minutes or less. There are sidewalks for all but about 150 feet. The...
