There's an international flair going on at The Mill B + B in Bantry. The delightful hosts are Dutch and one look through the guest book shows visitors from Australia, Germany, United States, Canada... and the comments are invariably grateful. The hosts have done this a long time and know what they are doing. They were both very personable and... More

What a treat this place was. My partner and I were cycling around Ireland in May and were so pleased to stay at the Mill. Our room had a private bath with nice hot showers and a very comfortable bed. The owners were so sweet and helpful and fed us until we almost exploded. The breakfast is huge- don't fill... More

Stayed at the Mill with my wife and two other couples while doing the Wild Atlantic Way. We were greeted by the owner and she was very welcoming and showed us the room. What I first found a little off putting was to be asked, while checking in, to make my breakfast selection for the next morning and to be... More

We recently stayed at the mill. It was the best b&b we ever stayed in. Our hosts gave excellent service and could not have been nicer or more helpful. House is beautiful and homely and breakfast was excellent. We look forward to staying there again very soon.

Tosca and Kees are certainly the most friendly and engaging couple we met on our trip. The rooms were excellent the decor great and the breakfast selection the best among all the B&B's we frequented. This is an real resident Artist's home to be enjoyed by everyone!

Spacious and comfortable B&B, excellent breakfast. Good parking. Decor a bit dated and quirky but none the less a comfortable stay. Tariff just doable for a solo motorbiker. This is frequently a problem 'on the road' looking for single accommodation. Not many have single rooms.

Booked directly with the owner who could not have been more helpful. Met on arrival and helped to settle in to room. Our room was of reasonable size, very well decorated, comfortable and very clean. Breakfasts were excellent with huge choice of cereals etc with very well prepared cooked choices. Tea/coffee facilities are available in a small kitchen off the... More

From the minute i spoke to the co-owner Tosca, i knew this place would be great, she was so friendly over the phone and upon arrival i was certainly not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome eventhough we arrived a tiny bit late at night. The next morning we left our beautiful bedroom to go have breakfast - this... More

The Mill in Bantry was our best bed and breakfast so far in Ireland. The friendly, helpful hosts, the lovely room, the delicious breakfast ( continental or cooked with an amazing array of choice ) , the close proximity to the town centre all made this a very welcoming stop. The hosts were happy to tell us about this area... More
