Had a night in the hostel on the way round the wild Atlantic way. Located just outside Skibbereen the hostel is an old mill. You can stay in the hostel or camp outside. Interior slightly quirky. Good kitchen. Huge dining table. Record player and lots of 60's - 70's vinyl for all the nostalgics out there. Table tennis and pool...

This place has it all, a warming feel, activities, the beach and town close by. Above all, super friendly staff, who are always ready to lend an ear and offer recommendations or places to go for a day out. Not to mention having archery and a few other activities in their back garden! Comfy beds and good night's sleep. Would...

Walking through the door of this hostel, you feel you're entering a special place. It's far enough outside Skibbereen to feel rural and secluded. The old mill has been beautifully renovated, room by room, and is clean and tasteful. The kitchen is airy and bright and has plenty of space for people to cook alongside each other on the two...

I stayed for three nights with two of my kids, 5 and 6 year olds. They loved it and didn't want to leave. So much for them to do and other kids to play with. Lovely beach just down the road and a Lidl nearby for bits and bobs. I definitely want to go back. Staff were very friendly and...

This place had a feed good vibe. Big shared dining area, chilled fire pit outside area, BBQ that could be a DJ deck, staff with knowledge that care about the extra that is the newly created garden space and are willing to share some garden care tips. Ooh and not forgetting the climbing wall out the back. A really pleasant...

Beautiful building, spacious room (dorm), nice to sit outside on the deck after cooking my dinner in the well equiped but slightly messy kitchen. Very warm welcome. There was a group of young girls staying that was extremely noisy till quite late. No hostel staff seemed to say anything about it. I was too tired to get out of bed...

I only stayed last night but really liked this hostel. Rooms and facilities were clean and comfy. There is a great atmosphere around with friendly staff. The area is stunning, 'West is Best'. I hope to be back again sometime.

The price was right, everyone was extremely friendly, and the room was comfortable. I was worried about shared bathroom facilities but never had a problem with having to wait to access them. They offer many activities for people to do which is nice.
