I described this b&b to my family at home like a 5 star boutique b&b experience and it's been so refreshing and comforting to stay somewhere this lovely in my travels, as sometimes accommodation can be a hit and miss thing. The room was beautiful, all the creature comforts are provided and then some, and Mona is a natural born...

We happened upon Mona and the Bridge House by chance, and what a fantastic experience we had. She was incredibly welcoming, but not at all intrusive. She is great fun and an inspirational lady. Her house is out of this world. Around every corner is another WOW. The decor is quirky and fun. Loads of fresh flowers in the rooms....

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The place reflects the personality of the hostess and that is saying a lot. Full of interesting things, mad things, beautiful things and curious things! Mona could not be more welcoming and accommodating, quickly changing the full Irish breakfast to an incredible vegetarian feast at a moments notice. Can't wait to go back.

less of the "old" I can hear you say! Thank you Mona for a wonderful couple of days at the Bridge House. Crona and I really enjoyed ourselves. For anybody looking for a warm friendly and fabulous landlady then Mona is a real treasure. Her establishment may not be to everybody's taste but we thought it was just fab! A...

You can't go wrong staying at the Bridge House, easily Skibbereen's most central guesthouse, and indeed something of a landmark in town. Mona, the proprietor, is brilliant: a deeply generous, interesting, and attentive host, she is a force of energy and goodwill. From the astonishing (and outlandishly LARGE) healthy breakfasts, to Mona's choice in music (the morning I walked in,...

We arrived to the Bridge House quiet late in the evening, the first thing we noticed was the wall of flowers and cows head protruding from the wall onto the street. This was just a taste of what was to come. Tired after a day of travelling we where introduced to Lady Mona who brought us to our two room,...

Have just spent the weekend in Mona's amazing B+B. The minute you enter this house you will feel as if you have entered another world. I'm so glad to have found this treasure and will be recommending it to all my friends.

We stayed over on Saturday night and had a wonderful time. Mona was gracious, welcoming and wise! The guest house is a living work of art as is Mona! Breakfast was delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice, and among the many delights was Gobbeen cheese with quince jelly, tasty organic local rashers and sausages, homemade preserves etc. We will be...

Very quirky place that has loads of charm, bedrooms immaculate and breakfast amazing. I would definitely return great value too. In good location and very easy going. The young chap working there was my only criticism as he just opened the bedroom door twice and just came in... Mona was great
