Valencia Island is a wonderful place. We were there for just one night and sadly the weather was possibly at its worst! High winds and torrential rain lashed the island over night bringing down cables. Because of this we had no water or electricity in the morning. This was not a problem as it was restored very quickly and it...

Frances is one of those rare people that restores one's faith in human kindness. It was my birthday which my fiance and I mentioned once we got there. After we set out for some food at a place she recommended (and was delicious) I returned home to a handwritten Brithday card and some chocolates. HOW KIND IS THAT?! She knows...

A very nice accommodation! Frances is a nice landlady. Very clean, breakfast good, beds are good and a perfect location to visit Valentia Island and The Skelligs. We are two sisters and our husbands will make an offer to buy the house 😋

We booked the apartment at Carraig Liath House, the owner was very friendly and helpful but we were a bit disappointed with the apartment. You can't argue with the views but as it was a 2 bed apartment we were expecting a double bed in one room and singles in the other. Sadly not, the larger room had a small...

Perfect location on Valentia Island in walking distance (via bridge) of Portmagee; very clean and the hosts were super friendly!!! Ideal if you travel along the Wild Atlantic Way / Ring of Kerry! Free parking!

Frances was just a lovely extremely accommodating hostess and was very understanding when my friend and I arrived quite late in the evening on the night of our check-in. She was helpful in giving tips and directions to local attractions, and the views and setting of the B&B were beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and...

our only regret is that we only stayed one night. we hope to return and stay for a few, at least. Carraig Liath House is conveniently located just across the bridge from Portmagee. it's close enough to walk, but outside of town/the village where you can stuff yourself on fresh seafood. Frances is a great hostess and an awesome breakfast...

Located a short walk from Portmagee. The room was smaller than expected but was warm and comfortable. The hostess, Frances was friendly and welcoming. We were there for two nights and wish we could of stayed longer. The breakfasts were great, Frances provided some helpful advice for touring around the area. This B&B is highly recommended if you want to...

This is a lovely, welcoming B&B. It is located on the Ring of Kerry, Ireland. Truely, one of the most beautiful places on the earth. . I'd give the B&B an excellent rating. The tour of the Skellig Islands is a must while you're there.

We stayed here for a single night. Frances was a spectacular host. She had arranged a landing trip for us to Skellig Michael. The views around the house are great. Portmagee is just across the bridge with a nice pub and waterfront. Breakfast was great. The room was quiet and clean and the bed comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying...
