Took a last minute decision to visit Clifden for a night during August. Following good reviews on TA decided to give them a call and luckily they had a room. The house is 100 years in the same family and is a pretty old house surrounded by blooming flowers. Des provided a warm welcome and the rate was very reasonable....

Clean rooms, friendly host, great service, lovely breakfast, convenient location - what more do you want? We have stayed in this little b&b every year for the past four years and we don't want to stay anywhere else!

Best breakfast in Ireland without a doubt. The dining room was exceptionally beautiful. Extremely comfortable accommodation and perfect position. The hostess Eileen is warm, inviting, informative and without comparison.

A highlight of our Irish adventure, this B and B should not be missed. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and at home by Eileen and Des. The old world charm was amazing and the dining room was filled with antiques, china and beautiful sterling serving pieces. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. The...

Ben View was and Eileen , accompanied by Desmond at Breakfasts where the perfect hosts and always making sure there was nothing wanting. Our room, top floor was quiet and and...

Eileen was an amazing host. Everything at Ben View is top notch! Great location. The accommodation was perfect. I can not even begin to tell how over the top the breakfast was prepared. Eileen has a special touch! I hope to return to Ben View as so many of her guests do come again and again and stay much longer...

Stayed here for the start and the end of the Clifden arts week. We received a genuinely warm welcome from Des and Eileen. They both excel in ensuring that all their guests are made to feel fully at home and the breakfast served in their 'olde worlde' dining room, fitted in with the Clifden arts week theme, being a work...

Owners are very friendly and helpful. Perfect place in the center of town. Breakfast is fantastic! Rooms are large and comfortable. One of the best B&B's we stayed in on our road trip in Ireland. We will go back again

Had a one-night stay at the end of a busy week touring around. The welcome you'll get here is first class and you absolutely feel like a guest in someone's house. The place was clean and the bed comfy which are the two most important things for us! I would have liked the room to be a little less hot,...
