We stayed the last weekend in November in Foyles hotel. I've stayed here on two occasions before and was looking forward to coming back. On arrival I discovered I had a puncture but this was ably and quickly dealt with by Steven. Problem solved. Our room 211, was large, cosy and inviting. Heat was never a problem in the hotel....

I have just being looking over photos from our trip to Connemara and we had such a lovely time. We stayed four nights in the hotel and used it as our base to visit the beautiful surrounding areas. I, my partner and our two children loved the friendly staff who had great time for us and gave us lots of...

Our weekend in Clifden and Connemara was ruined when we stayed at Foyles Hotel. Saturday night there was a party in the double room next door which began around 12 midnight and ended at 9 am next day. There was constant loud talking and aggressive shouting all night from five or six people. We tried to phone reception during the...

We stayed here for only 1 night while touring. Very friendly greeting and efficient service at the desk.. Beautiful lobby, large room and bathroom. It is quite an old hotel and is quite charming. The furniture is quite old and worn which is ok by me, just adds to the charm. The carpet really needs replacing badly in the bedrooms(...

Quiet hotel, clean, amazing food-breakfast was amazing. it has soul and has amazing bar with patio. Staff is friendly and easy going. Warm place, centre of Clifden. Could be a bit cheaper but still worth the price! Old type hotel with excellent variety of furniture for antiques lovers.

Stayed one night extremely friendly staff and located on main Street with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel itself decorated to an old styling which is nice although for my own taste the rooms were a little dated. However this is just my taste. Breakfast was good not amazing but like all other times staff were accommodating and...

I visit Clifden 3 or 4 times per year with family and friends. I would not stay anywhere else. Staff are like family. Breakfast is top class. 5 star rating for me. Old style hotel with a warm homely atmosphere from start to finish. Rooms are old style with everything you need. Always clean and fresh with tea and coffee...

Ok so overall I really liked this hotel. Pros - delightful reception staff with a warm welcome, Jack the hotel Labrador was gorgeous (every hotel should have one), great sitting area for relaxing with open fire, room was clean and bed comfy. Not bad value for money and right where you need to be in the centre of Clifden. Cons...

I stayed here for the first time between Thursday 13th to Monday 17th October 2016. I joined my parents and aunts who were already staying at Foyles. My parents have stayed here before and their feedback on what the hotel was like didn't disappoint. If you want a family run, quirky, personal and warm place to stay in Clifden, then...

We really enjoyed our stay here the staff were extremely helpful polite and friendly this is an immaculately kept hotel and the excellent attention to detail all made it feel welcoming and homely. I really could not fault this impeccably well managed hotel. Not just that the rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The fires were lit ready for...
