A really private B&B with friendly and Family atmosphere. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is perfect. It is situated a Little bit outside of town, nice landscape around. If we could, we would stay a Little bit longer there.

We had a great two night stay at the Faul House in early July. Our room was enormous and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good selection of food to choose from. Our sons really enjoyed the animals (the oldest is still talking about Sootie!) and the toys that Kathleen got out for...

My husband and I have made several trips to Ireland, but this was the first visit for our teenage daughters. We could not have had a better experience at Faul House! This was our FAVORITE place to stay. We had two beautiful rooms with lovely views and a welcoming atmosphere -- complete with peat fire in the gathering room on...

Usually b&b offer small rooms (unless it is a family room) and a bathroom with shower, so I was surprised to see a very big room with even bigger bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, nicely decorated and very clean. Faul house is located close to Clifden but at the same time in a very quiet area. We visited...

We were passing through Clifden and picked this BnB from the Failte Tourist book. Ended up staying two nights, and wish we had stayed three. Lovely, large room with exquisite bathroom, all very new and modern. Lovely host and hostess, with yummy breakfasts. We had some hand-washed clothes that needed drying, and our hostess hung our stuff on her line...

We stayed at Faul House for four nights in early June 2016: a couple taking a few days to explore Connemara for the first time. It is hard to imagine how we could have been more fortunate in our choice of B&B. Faul House was faultless in terms of location, comfort and hospitality. It is located a few minutes’ drive...

We have stayed with Kathleen and Michael previously and will stay with them again. The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are large and very nice. Breakfasts choices are many and all delicious. Eggs are fresh from their farm. Kathleen can offer many different things to do, restaurant's suggestions or attractions to see. Michael raises Connemara ponies and you can see them...

Faul House is a comfortable B&B outside of Clifden. It was our first night exploring the Irish countryside after a night in Dublin, and it was so refreshing to have Kathleen's hospitality after being at a big hotel in Dublin. When I requested a quiet room, she put my husband and I in a huge corner room with three beds!...

We loved staying here! So relaxing, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed visiting with the ponies, walking the lanes and sitting by the fireplace. Kathleen was helpful in guiding us to good restaurants and seemed to enjoy visiting with us.
