It was pure luck that brought us to the Ardagh Hotel on our recent trip to Ireland. We were scheduled to spend 5 days at a cottage in Connemara, but found those accommodations to be wholly unacceptable. Rather than squander our time-off being unhappy, we decided to repair to a local pub, go on TripAdvisor, and find a more suitable...

The Inn is nice, breakfast is great, service very friendly. One of our favorite places on a three week trip to Scotland and Ireland. It's a little out of town so it's quite and the views are spectacular.

My husband and I have stayed at this family owned and run hotel and restaurant for two absolutely relaxed, wonderful visits. The owners and staff are all very helpful and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, the rooms are comfortable, the scenery is breathtaking. The Ardagh is a perfect base for enjoying Connemara; you are close to Kylemore Abbey, the Connemara...

We spent two night in this place early this August. It's located in a wonderful bay on the Wild Atlantic Way in Clifden! We had a fantastic ocean view room ! All the hotel facilities were really lovely as all the people in this hotel. Last but not least the restaurant....simply delicious.

We stayed for three nights with our dog, Cai. All the staff and owners were friendly and they made you feel very welcome at this special hotel. We stayed in one of the well decorated Garden rooms and they provided dog towels, bed, bowls and a treat, which was a lovely touch. After a day sight seeing in this beautiful...

The views from the hotel, and in particular, the dining room are stunning. Food is a highlight of the Ardagh experience with fresh home grown vegetables and wonderful local seafood featuring. We really enjoy a few...

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the hotel. The room was fine, with a great view. Paying extra for a room on the water side was worth it. The food was excellent in the restaurant, and some of it is locally grown on the property. Staff was friendly and helpful.
