Grove Farm was exactly as I had pictured it. Nellie was a wonderful host and went out of her way to make our stay a a very special experience. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable. Nellie has the gift of hospitality and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank you, Nellie!!!!

This is a 200 year old farm house that is on a working beef cattle ranch. Nelli takes care of the Bed and Breakfast while her family takes care of the cattle. She is also very active in her community so you need to let her know when you are coming and going so she can let you in. It...

This is a working farm nestled on a valley hillside along with grazing cows and gardens. We had booked a Family Room for my wife and 2 daughters in their early twenties. We were kindly offered the adjoining room at no extra charge so that my daughters had their own room. We awoke to the sound of lowing calves in...

Located in the country on a hill with an amazing view about 15 mins from the closest town! The farm has been in her husbands family for over 200 years. We were greeted by a lovely lady who offered tea upon arrival. During our two night stay there we were greeted each evening after returning from our excursions with tea...

We had a lovely time in the large family room at Grove Farm. We were welcomed with warmth and charm and enjoyed the ample breakfast. The location is lovely, adjacent to farmland and with a nice view (although I recommend bringing a good map or GPS to help find it). Wifi is available in the landing and breakfast area, and...

I was warmly greeted with a cup of tea and home made cake and from that point on I felt very well looked after. Nellie is a welcoming and discrete host, an accomplished cook (full Irish Breakfast), warm, and caring for my comfort. She offered a glass of red in the evening and was an engaging conversationalist as we relaxed...

On a whim we decided on our last free day in Ireland to see where the road would take it. The morning of we decided to visit Kilkenny so were to book a nearby room. We should have paid closer attention to the exact location of Grove Farm as it isn't even close to Kilkenny, but more than 20+ miles...

We - two couples - stayed for three nights in Grove Farm House and can't speak highly enough of the accommodation, the food and the hostess Nellie Cassin. Our beds were comfortable and each night Nellie turned on our electric blankets, before we arrived back from dinner, as there was a nip in the air. The next morning we enjoyed...

We stayed for 3 night here and found Nellie to be very welcoming. The immediate feeling was one of relaxation and comfort. The house is very tastefully decorated, warm, comfortable and peaceful.. Just a short drive into Kilkenny & Waterford and surrounding areas makes it a good spot for the best of both. The breakfast is the Best in the West,...

Nellie showed great hospitality, we were welcomed with tea and a freshly-baked appletart at half past eight in the evening! Breakfast was good, we had a VERY spacious, nicely decorated (partly antique furniture) and clean room and slept in the large bed on good mattress like logs. We can only recommend this B&B.
