We spent our first night in Ireland here. Very lucky! Florence is the sweetest lady. She gave us good advice on where to find the best pub for live traditional music that night. The room was nice; the bathroom also. Breakfast was a treat. We are vegans and she had soya milk and soya sausages for us! We loved her...

I am from Limerick and had the opportunity to stay here with friends that had come from overseas for a wedding. Having stayed in many English bed and Breakfasts I can say this outshines any privately owned accommodation previously stayed in. Florence was an exceptional host including Winnie the dog! We did have the front room in the house and...

Gracious welcome from the owner and Winnie the dog as soon as I drove into the private parking area at the rear of the house. I was given a choice of two rooms, one as nice as the other. The clean, spacious room with a small refrigerator in the closet was beautifully decorated. There was fresh fruit and candy on...

(This review has been revised and resubmitted as I was advised that it previously included an inaccurate assumption). First visit to this part of Ireland for my wife and me. Adare is a pleasant town although somewhat strangled by through traffic in the summer season, a penalty of not having any highway bypass, which would perhaps take much needed trade...

We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 teen boys) and stayed one night in two rooms. We just loved this bed-and-breakfast. Everything was ideal. We received a warm welcome, the house was very pretty, the rooms were just the right size and nicely equipped with outlets and a way to make coffee/tea, the bathroom was roomy and the...

I was on my first visit to Ireland with my Mom who had been before many years ago. We stayed at the Coatesland for 2 nights and both wished we could have stayed longer but other reservations were made prior to our trip. Florence was the quintessential Irish hostess and was excellent at it. She is warm and caring and...

We stayed here on our first three nights in Ireland. Florence, the owner, is an excellent host who makes everyone feel right at home. The breakfeast was a great Irish feast. She catered to our special diet of dairy and gluten free. The house is within walking distance to the town of Adare. Adare is one of the picturesque small...

During a road trip around the southern part of Ireland, we made Adare a rest stop one evening. Not having made reservations we typically stopped at whatever looked comfortable. This stop was definitely my favorite! Florence was a gracious host, the breakfast was second to none, and the room was clean and comfortable! Close walk to the pubs and shops....
