Oakwood House was our B&B for our first night in Ireland. Nora had readied our room early so we could rest after an overnight flight. This was much appreciated. The breakfast offerings were delicious. We enjoyed the cozy dining room which made for warm visiting with other guests. Nora's driving advice and travel tips were so helpful that we held...

Running late without a reservation we stumbled upon this gem just outside Adare. Warm welcome. Clean comfortable room, Wonderful breakfast at a VERY reasonable price. Time in the guest lounge reading was exactly what we needed after a day on the go.

Our night stay at oakwood house was good. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The neighbourhood is quiet. When we had questions, Nora was there to help. There was a typical irish breakfast inclkuding fruits and cereals which was delicious. All in all we had a great stay.

Stayed at Oakwood only one night, Nora was very accomodating and organised two rooms for us as there'd been a misunderstanding. Adare is a lovely little town with plenty of charm. There are not many rooms that they rent out.

Nora went way beyond the call of duty to make our stay at Oakwood House comfortable. Cosy beds, a delicious breakfast with views of bright green fields and grazing cattle and a log fire in the sitting room. When I fell ill, I found a hot water bottle in my bed and not only excellent directions to various destinations, but...

A really lovely little BB with only 3 rooms, so service is personal and you immediately feel at home. The rooms are spotless, quiet, and there is free wifi and parking on spot. Nora and her husband are such a kind couple and the breakfast is perfect as well.

We spend the night after a flight and a long drive from Dublin. When we entered, we received a nice welcome and a cup of thee. The house is cosy, rooms are tidy and the breakfast was everything we hoped for. Thanks a lot to Nora for this wonderful Irish experience.
