I spent just one night here recently and found the accomodation extremely clean and very comfortable. The only fault was the restaurant service.Whilst the restaurant staff were extremely friendly, maybe a little too friendly...I have never been called hun bun before...they were under a lot of pressure. I felt that with some basic restaurant training, this matter could easily be... More

I stayed here for three weeks last month (April 2015) for work in the area. Rooms very clean and well proportioned, comfortable bed, but the pillows have plastic protective covers under the pillow slip which made me suffer night sweats something awful. The breakfast room/restaurant had a habit of playing James Last flute music and Richard Claderman piano concertos with... More

We had the second floor, corner room, with two windows -- one on each side. Great view of the water across the street. Our room was large with a sitting area. I would definitely stay here again! Nice hot breakfast, too. Location is just around the corner from the main street in Carrick-on-Shannon. We had dinner at the Oarsman, which... More

There is a saying 'you never get a second chance to make a first impression', and how right it is.... When we arrived into the hotel it was absolutely roasting hot, noisy and crowded because of a large group in the dinning room and bar....I'm not complaining about the fact that the place was busy in fact I'm pleased for... Excellent Service from arranging the booking to checking out - we couldn’t have asked for better!! Organising accommodation for a hen weekend for 30 people was an easy task thanks to the staff of this hotel. From provisionally booking the hotel the staff were very helpful being clear on everything from price to room numbers etc. On arrival all 30... More

This hotel was used as a meeting point for several cars travelling up to a wedding in Sligo from Dublin. We had arrived first in our car and had an elderly person with us and managed to slowly walk her through to the bar. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly (a lovely red haired girl in particular)... More

Just back from this hotel stayed for the weekend as we were going to a wedding at the Landmark and no room in that Inn for 2 nights. Cryan's is quite a good hotel - bedroom quite nice - bathroom clean but a bit small and pokey overall bit pricey for what it is. Had dinner on the Friday night... More

Cryan's restaurant presents a good selection of food for lunch and evening meals. Food is tasty and varied. Quantity is good and extras are often offered. Prices are pretty typical for this type of restaurant. Usually busy for lunch, but seating is available. Worth a visit if you are in town and in need of food.
