Four Canucks attended their first GAA Football game and came away wondering why this sport is only played in Ireland, fast, great skill and plenty of action both around the ball and a great 'chess' game away from the ball carrier. When asking directions to stadium from the hotel,...

Stayed here for work. Up very early but staff there for cold breakfeasts. There were quite a few of us heading out early staff were efficient, friendly and helpful even at 5 am. On arrival the previous evening we had dinner which was welcome and lovely. Retired to bar then for a nightcap.

Stayed here about two weeks ago. Room was overpriced for a Thursday night (€99). The room was clean and spacious. Receptionist was lovely on both check in and check out. Lovely little spot but rates could be better.

We were rambling around Carrick on Shannon today and dropped in to The Bush Hotel for a cup of coffee and a sandwich. We were admiring the stunning pictures of Carrick on Shannon in past times and the lady at reception (the owner) asked us would we like to see the Michael Collins suite where the "Big Fella" himself actually...

First of all the Hotel is very central so location is perfect. Stayed for 2 nights midweek. Staff at reception and bar/restaurant couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Anyone with special dietary requirements will be happy to know the staff here are very accommodating. I was here on business this time but will definitely be returning with my family....

Frequented this hotel on a number of occasions, and we always return as it has proved consistently excellent, both for food and warm hospitality. Already looking forward to our next stay. It's location is perfect right in the town centre within walking distance of all the great things to do in Carrick - moon river, St George's heritage centre, electric...

Situated on Main Street of Carrick-on-Shannon, the Bush hotel is a well run family hotel, it has a very interesting old history about the hotel with the mixture of the modern taste. The staff were very friendly. The room that we were staying was quite roomy and was kept very clean, it also has free Wi-Fi in the room. However...

I stayed two nights in this hotel as part of a hen Night. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had dinner on the two nights also. There is plenty of choice on the menu. On the second night we were each given a free glass of champagne during our meal. Overall the...
