We stayed with our tour group, for one day. The rooms were charming and roomy. We also had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Both were delicious. The hotel is is an ideal location to explore the town from.

When I was reviewing places to stay in Kinsale something I quickly picked up on was that parking was a buggar. So instead of looking for B & Bs which would be my usual place to start , I looked for places in town with good reviews that had parking. Actons Hotel did not disappoint. It was in town with...

Myself and 8 other colleagues stayed here Thursday night on business but it soon turned into a very enjoyable stay. Plenty parking even though the hotel was quiet full. Receptionist was very helpful and he was very helpful. I got one of the smaller rooms on the third floor but it was perfect for what I wanted. The room was...

This was my first stay at Acton's and from the very start they were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I run a small tour company and needed to relocate my group of 7 travellers to the Acton's from another hotel in Kinsale. I approached the front desk with a request for information as to how best to manage the move, and...

Acton Hotel is Awesome. Couldn't be better located, stayed 2 nights, 3 days, I'd go back tomorrow if I could. Rooms are great, service is great, ate breakfast there (terrific), went to pubs and local dining for lunch (Guiness) and dinner. A lot of history to the town and area. Very nice walk to fort for some interesting WW1 history....

The rooms were well-appointed and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Irish breakfast was very good. Nice location facing the inlet and an easy walk to everything. Better than the #1 rated hotel in Cork.

The battle of Kinsale in 1601 changed the course of Irish history for ever and since then the town has been a significant player on the native scene in terms of history, scenic beauty, culture, maritime activity and laterally gastronomic excellence. This is the oldest hotel in Kinsale, an elegant Georgian town house recently renovated to a high standard yet...

Stayed one night with a tour group. Room sizes varied but all guests (Americans) were pleased. I appreciated the nice bedding and the spacious bathroom. Room included hair dryer, kettle with instant coffee/tea and several electrical outlets. The group dinner and breakfast in the hotel were good, but not spectacular. One nice breakfast option was the ability to order a...

The Acton's hotel in right on the water. Rooms were nice but small. Service was good, pub bartender was great. Check out Dino's restaurant for great food and good prices. Within walking distance to main portion of town. Quaint shops, pubs, restaurants and a casino.
