Can't see the lighthouse unless you play golf or staying the night there. There is a big wall and guard. There's still an overlook, but nothing close after a long drive is always terrible. Choose a different lighthouse if you want to see one up close.

This is golf course offers some of the most beautiful views of the Atlantic! I was unable to play due to an injury, but the staff allowed me to take a cart and explore the course! They were very friendly and accommodating. After taking many beautifuyl photos, we enjoyed a meal in the club house pub, which also has spectacular...

were here this summer on a day trip. Took a taxi from Kinsale to the last pub there and walked the remaining few miles. Too bad you can't go all the way to the tip, because of the golfcourse. Nevertheless, there is a tower from which there are stunning views! When we walked back, we took the way to the...

If you like challenging holes along with unbelievable ocean and cliff views, then this is the place. Yes the fees are hefty, but it's a once in a lifetime experience. The weather can change on a dime so be prepared and bring rain suit and layers. Service is awesome from the time you get there and they have lovely, polite...

Absolutely spectacular golf course that has spectacular views from every hole. It is quite different from traditional Irish courses we played during our week. The fairways are generous and greens are large but fair primarily because when the wind blows it is a monster!

We had a wonderful stay here, stayed in the light house room, it was a stunning suite. Staff were so helpful and a credit to the club. Stunning location, truly takes your breath away. The golf is a wonderful experience whether walking or playing it may be one of the top courses in the world.

Drove along here as part of the wild Atlantic way route from kinsale. Definitely worth a drive on a nice bright day. Views and scenery breathtaking. Lots of nice places to eat and chill and the beaches, water and coastline spectacular. Well signed and roads good.

My husband and myself spent a few days recently in Kinsale and we took a drive out to see the area around the Old Head of Kinsale. On the clear day it is absolutely magnificent. The only thing that worried me a little is that there are no warnings about the sheer cliff drops, and if you arrive with children,...
