Staying at San Antonio B&B was a great experience. We corresponded with Jimmie, the innkeeper, several times via emails and phone before arriving in Ireland. He was always very prompt in answering questions. We had a party of five and stayed in 2 rooms. They were spacious, comfortable and neat. Jimmie was an excellent host and his breakfasts were delicious,...

San Antonio was recommended to my sister and I. The accomodations are not posh, but the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot, and the host is the most. Jimmy communicated well and worked with us on all our needs. He is a wealth of information in regards to the area. His breakfasts are wonderful and he truly cares about...

Jimmy is such an accommodating host, and the breakfasts are enormous and delicious. The rooms are not posh, but they're comfortable and quiet. We stayed two weeks in Ireland, and Jimmy was one of our favorite b&b hosts.

The San Antonio was my second choice as my first choice was full and San Antonio was recommended by the first innkeeper. I could not have been happier! First, Jimmie Conron is an absolute gentleman, a lovely human being. He is low-key, helpful and a great host. The home is old-fashioned, as befitting its age! I was on the top...

I've stayed with Jimmy in San Antonio many times and I love the way you're welcomed like a friend who's just called in. There's a friendly atmosphere, clean tidy rooms, it's a 2 minute stroll to the centre of town, and the breakfast is legendary. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Stayed one night in Kinsale on a tour through Southern Ireland. San Antonio house was lovely. Great location. Only 2 blocks from the Main Street with loads of restaurants, shops and pubs. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Jimmy the host was amazing! Very friendly. He gave suggestions for things to do and even a weather forecast...

We just returned from 2 weeks in Ireland - 2 evenings with Jimmie in Kinsale. He was a wonderful host - lovely home and lovely breakfast! Kinsale is a wonderful town - my personal favorite on the whole "Rick Steves" inspired tour!

Jimmy was spot on with dinner recommendations. San Antonio house was so cool on the inside and very spacious. Old merchants house from Kinsale's trading heyday, but updated with modern fixtures. The breakfast was delicious - Jimmy will let you order whatever you want, but get his porridge (and not the cornflakes).

We enjoyed many delightful activities in Kinsale. Each night we had a restful, good night's sleep and then Jimmy treated us to a grand breakfast every morning. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, engaging host. Jimmy is also a guitarist who sings beautiful folk songs. I am hoping he will email me the recipe for the delicious brown...
