Was here recently for a business meeting. Quite a nice quaint place and I had coffee and a sandwich which was fine. I went to the gents toilet around 6.30pm and OMG the stench was unreal. I had to hold my breath as the smell of stale urine was appalling. I looked at the cleaning chart on the wall and... More

Possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in, to date. Rooms are cheap, stuffy and uncomfortable. As we opened our door to the bedroom we got a whiff of febreeze as in they must of sprayed a full can while cleaning the room. Bad decor throughout the room, the blind fell down which of course is a cheap dirty net... More

Rooms are fine, at the rear of hotel, food is good, service excellent, bar friendly. However in the morning as I was at the front door, I was approached by a homeless man, who asked me to order him a sandwidge, as he is barred. I checked at reception who confirmed he could not come in.I ordered a sandwidge at... More

As I was in Mallow town on the 25th of June and the fact that I wanted a tasty carvery dinner I decided to stop in the Hi-B hotel. Initially when we went in there was no seats available in the dining room so we went into the bar which was packed and very noisy due to the Euro 2016... More

This is our second visit to the Hibernian and have to say it has surpassed itself, the room we had was pure luxury and the food was excellent and Leah who looked after us at dinner yesterday evening was wonderful, a happy and smiling server can make a good meal even better. All of the staff in every department were... More

My husband & I were in Mallow and needed to stay overnight. We were in the Hibernian for lunch and asked if they had a room for the night. We got a beautifully decorated room with an even nicer big bathroom, complete with bath and separate shower. The bed was almost 6ft wide and the most comfortable bed i have... More

First off, this is an older hotel, but very nice. We had a very large room that was updated and clean. We were in Ireland when there was unseasonably warm weather (when does that ever happen!) and the hotel does not have air conditioning nor did it have fans to help with the heat. We had a room facing the... More
