We attended a family wedding at Longueville House this past weekend. It was wonderful. The beautiful old house, the walled gardens, courtyard, acres of orchards, the Victorian conservatory in which the wedding dinner was served - all stunning. The level of attention to detail and the graceful service by all staff was very much appreciated. The bedroom was spacious and...

We love Longueville House. Having stayed there on a number of occasions, we have grown to expect excellence. It's also not cheap, i.e. we spent eur600+ for a one night stay for 2 adults and 2 kids. However, this recent trip was disappointing. The physical appearance needs some improvement (e.g. severley 'pot-holed' road into the House and overgrown gardens). No...

We were home visiting family in Ireland last week and happened to be passing Longueville. We didn't have much spare time but decided to pop in for good memories as we got married there 4 years ago. Our friends still talk about our wedding as they had such a memorable experience. As soon as we stepped inside the door, we...

Our group stopped at this country hotel on the way from the Blarney Castle to Dublin, and we had one of the most beautifully prepared, delicious luncheons I have ever eaten. They had a buffet luncheon with so many appetizing choices that I had to carefully manage my portions in order to have as many tastes as possible. This was...

Had my civil ceremony at Longueville House, what a place, Aisling and William were so helpful, all the small touches were fantastic, even down to the wedding cake that they recommended we get, it was barrels of cheese, the meal was unique, it was a fantastic day and the lunch the following day was out of this world. One guest...

Booked a one night stay with dinner for two. On arrival whilst check in was swift, they had lost my dinner booking. Received two emails in the weeks before arrival reminding to ensure dinner was pre - booked, which I called them to do. After all that they then go and lose my booking. We agreed on another time for...

This is one of the few reviews that I am making on the unique merits of a place. I rated this as an excellent hotel, but as a previous review stated, it has to be appreciated on the unique character of the place. The hotel is a converted manor house from the early 1700's. It is old and solid and...

This is a lovely place. A country manor surrounded by idyllic grounds. But know what you are getting and make sure this is what you are looking for before you book. The wifi is available but not in all rooms. There is no TV, correction, there is a note in your room saying should you like a TV please make...

Stayed in Longueville in August and cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was. The property is breathtakingly beautiful and the food, accommodations and service cannot be compared to any other experience I have known with BNBs. Arrived early enough to stroll through the orchard, the manor garden and the walled garden and was struck by the beauty and...

Longueville's standards never slip, in fact they only seem to get higher and higher. The Sunday Brunch has only gotten better (hard to believe), with generous buffet complimented by wonderful main course. Ours was lamb cooked on fireplace of main sitting room. Quite a sight, and a wonderful outcome. Desserts fantastic, too. Rooms were even better this time around. Televisions...
