Me and my boyfriend had the place to ourselves when we went so it was great. The hostess was waiting for us and made us feel very comfortable, she had prepared a nice fire in the common room and was always available to help. The room was comfortable, there was even an electric blanket to keep us warm. I would...

The Lodge/Hostel is very well situated overlooking a beautiful river estuary. Don't be fooled by the name, it is not in Belmullet Town but out near a beautiful little village in a quiet and picturesque valley. The lodge provides very accurate Latitude and Longitude so trust your GPS to find it. It is well worth finding, whilst there is shared...

Kilcommon Lodge is a real home from home and the cooked breakfast smelt delicious and was clearly made with quality...

Beautiful little hostel, hidden away off the beaten track. Really clean, lots of lovely little details, free tea and coffee, fresh flowers in vases. Betty, the owner, is very accommodating and helpful. Seek this place out. A great location for exploring Erris and North Mayo. Two pubs within walking distance as well.

I stayed there with a walking group last weekend. We all loved the place. Really clean and well organised hostel. Betty was a fabulous host and was so helpful. We ate there for all our meals (including dinner). Delicious food and really reasonable. Great location for exploring the area and excellent pub down the road. Highly recommended.
