Beautiful house with great view. We walked into Dingle with no problem (although it is not a close walk, it is very pleasant). Comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Wireless internet worked well. Breakfasts were divine! Pancakes and salmon eggs Benedict were our favorites. Hosts were...More
Stayed here for two nights over New Years. Warmly welcomed by Brian with a glasss of Bucks Fizz for New Year and shown to our beautiful room overlooking the Bay. Well appointed rooms, tastefully decorated with huge bathroom complete with jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was everything...More
Wow! This place is pretty much perfect in every way. The place is comfy, clean and cozy with all kinds of nice small touches. Brian, the owner, seemed to be the kind of person who takes great pride in his work and does everything well....More

Best to email Helen and Brian asap to discuss dates, I think Castlewood has 14 rooms some with double beds. There is free car parking in front and hotel is conveniently located 10 minute walk into town. Elevator in house but there are a few steps up to front door and inside foyer.
Dingle is a fun town for children and they are allowed in pubs to hear music. Murphy's ice Cream, Dingle Aquarium, pottery workshop, fishing in bay - see Fungi the wild dolphin, historic and tour attractions out west on Slea Head Drive, beautiful beaches for picnic lunch. Dingle Crystal workshop is awesome, owner Sean is master glass artist and rides very cool Harley Motorcycles.
Enjoy Dingle! Ellen

On our first night in Dingle we walked along the Strand from Castlewood to a pub that was a few doors down from the the Out of the Blue restaurant. There we had one of the best evenings of our Ireland trip listening to the music of a first rate entertainer.
