My wife and I planned a driving trip to western Ireland including two nights in Dingle. The Castlewood House was highly rated and we contacted them to book the nights. The first night was fully booked, so Helen booked us in the Heaton Guesthouse next door for that night. From the outset, communication was exceptional to confirm our booking and...

Castlewood House is just a superb B&B - in fact superb probably sells it a little short! From the moment we arrived (at about 10pm after a 5 hour flight delay) Brian and his team just excelled to make us comfortable. The breakfasts are responsible for my expanding waist line (the bread pudding is probably the main culprit). My wife,...

Castlewood House is a first class place to stay in Dingle. Beautiful accommodation and great food. We were there for 2 nights while exploring the Dingle Peninsula and loved it. Great service as well. Location is good as well - right on the water and just a short walk to the main part of town. We'd go back in a...

We recently did a week in Ireland with my family (4 couples). The Castlewood exceeded my expectations. Best breakfast, and most accommodating staff. They gave great recommendations, and very helpful driving directions! Wish we would have stayed a couple more nights!

Just looking at our Ireland photos and wanted to share our wonderful experience at the Castlewood in June. We traveled with our adult children and loved the setting, the breakfast, and the warm hospitality that Helen and Brian have created. It is a must in Dingle ,

We spent several nights here and found it a first class accommodation. It is a well run with a professional and courteous staff who is well trained in providing excellent service. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated. The food for breakfast was excellent, fresh with great variety, wonderful presentation and delicious. This was just a great place to stay.

Brian was ever so helpful, drawing us maps, suggesting restaurants (all excellent), calling for reservations, giving us the forecast (rain, and then maybe some rain). Unforunately, Helen had some out-of-town events and we never met her, but heard great things. The other staff were also very helpful, friendly and never "stuffy". Breakfasts were wonderful and it was clear that everyone...

The Castlewood is a wonderfully luxurious guesthouse from which to explore Dingle. Brian, Helen and staff will do anything to accomadate their guests. Absolutely beautiful house with great art, fine antiques and the best breakfast you will ever have (try the eggs benedict made with smoked salmon).

I wanted to take the time to write a review about our stay here. This B & B doesn't miss a thing. The breakfast is the best we had in our 10 day stay all over Ireland. Even as we walked out the door on our final day, there was fresh coffee and to go cups waiting so we could...

This is one of the best B&B hotels we've ever stayed in. Brian and Helen are wonderful hosts and are keen to interact with those staying. The quality of the rooms, both public and private, cannot be faulted. Although the building is relatively modern, the interior is classy and full of character and the attention to detail is superb. Breakfast...
