We booked a room for July 2013 back in March through hostelbookers.com. We arrived after a hot day on the bus to find out when asking directions at the Tourist office that Blackberry Lodge has been shut down due to breaking fire regulations. At no point did we receive notification of the closure, or even an email to say that...

Room was perfect, we had shared bathroom facilities which were spotless. The kitchen has a lovely homely feel to it with everything you might need. It's location is ideal for nights out and general exploration of Dingle. The owner was lovely giving us advice on where to go and most importantly where the good deals are! Overall an excellent experience!

We stayed here for 2 nights in late April. The hostel itself isnt much to love. The room was a little dirty and cold, but clean linens were already on the bed for us and they were clean and comfy. Simple rooms and common area, but the Wifi works great and the doors locked. We felt that our stuff was...

When we arrived we were told they were over booked, the owner showed us a room (that doubled as a bar!!) and said he would put two beds in it, we went out for a...

The Blackberry Lodge Hostel was amazing! From the moment we arrived till the day we said our goodbyes, it was a place I will never forget. The owners, David and Geraldine, were the most friendly and helpful people. Simply put; they were welcoming, ready to share their beautiful town with us and just downright genuine people. Couldn't have asked for...

“The en suite room has two large windows that look over the street. They are a bit noisy late-night, but it didnt seem to be a problem for us.”
