We stayed in the family suite, family of four. The location of the B and B is a little on the outskirts of dingle, but a short walk to all of the pubs and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfy, and the owners were nice and easy to talk too. The only downside was the the breakfast part was just a little granola yogurt and fruit. Not really a filling meal, but considering everything that is just a minor quibble. All in all I would certainly stay here again!
We stayed at Sraid Eoin House for 5 nights for our elopement in Dingle. In addition to having an absolutely lovely B&B that was very clean and comfortable, Kathleen and Maurice went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding morning went smoothly. We are so appreciative of their thoughtfulness and kindness. If we are lucky enough to go back to Dingle, we'll book a room with them straight away!
The hosts were very accommodating, always contactable, room exactly as seen from the pictures and great location within walking distance to everything. Very reasonable for what is on offer and would definitely book again if I am going back to dingle.
Myself and my girlfriend stayed at Sraideoinhouse for two nights and couldnt have asked for more. The owners gave us all of the local tips on where to go for food, coffee, sites to see which we followed to a tee and ended up being one of the better trips we have had. The accomodation itself is top class, huge room with a massive double bed and en suite which again was huge. Everything was spotless with towels etc. provided. It is located smack bang in the middle of dingle town. Everything in the town is 3 min walk with one of the best restaurants right next door. Overall for us the hospitality, price and comfort in general was all ten out of ten. Cant thank the guys at Sraideoinhouse enough.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Kathleen & Morris were the loveliest hosts with plenty of local knowledge. Our room was immaculately clean, the shower was great and our bed was really comfortable. The best part about this BnB though is the location- in the heart of beautiful Dingle! We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!
Thank you to Kathleen and Morris for our amazing stay in their beautiful B&B. The place was immaculately clean, very helpful from when we arrived. The beds were so comfy and the shower was so powerful. We honestly cannot wait to come back and stay again and recommend everyone to stay here. Sinéad, Dolores and Claire.
Myself and three friends stayed in Straid Eoin House for Dingle food festival. Lovely family run BnB, spacious rooms and fantastic location. Everything is in walking distance - I would highly recommend :)
Had a lovely stay in this B&B staff very friendly and helpful,Beds very comfy also very clean and good breakfast!and most importantly they make a nice pot of tea! Would recommend highly!! walking distance from the harbour fungi and the craic!!
We stayed in this B&B for 3 nights. It means John Street and is situated at the end of the street above a travel agency. It is in a great location for pubs, restaurants, and to tour the city. The owner greeted us and allowed us a choice of rooms before we paid in cash. We had 2 rooms 3&4 situated on the front/street side across the hall from each other. Firstly- Overall this is not a fancy place. It is very basic in finishings, but the bed is very COMFORTABLE. A TV is in the room with 6 channels and a large closet. No A/C, but the window opens at an angle to cool the room without worry of rain. One room was a double and the other was a family which included a full bed and a twin bed. The family room was very spacious. The bathrooms had a toilet, sink, and shower. A combo body/hair wash in a bottle the size of nail polish was provided. Luckily we had our own toiletries. There were 2 outlets near the beds. Bring an adapter. The room was cleaned daily and they accommodated our schedule. Sometimes the locks could be tricky. There were 2 doors to unlock before getting inside the building, no worries about someone getting in. Second- THE BREAKFAST was more than adequate and included 2 wonderful women who greeted and catered to your needs. They remembered I liked ice and had it ready every morning ( not easy to come by ). Breakfast had options of fresh breads, cereals, cheeses, yogurts, crackers, juices, milk, coffee, tea, full Irish, and other menu options. We got the full Irish every morning. We didn’t need to eat lunch because we were so full. The black pudding was different but good. In addition to breakfast there was a parlor with tea and coffee and digestives for refreshments throughout the day board games and a comfy couch are in there as well. Third- we slept well all but Saturday night. There was a big game going on and we could hear people into the wee hours. Nothing to complain about since we knew there were pubs close by, Just shut the window. Fourth-parking is in the street and first come first served. We did not move our car much. There is a less busy street close that usually had parking at all hours. Overall this was a great value and we enjoyed our stay. Temper your expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised. We would recommend Sraid Eoin House. The owner was pedant and the staff was beyond helpful. Side note - Mask restaurant across the street was splendid.…
A Rick Steves find, we were very late due to weather, traffic and long trip to Aran Islands. They were so very kind when we stumbled in after 10 pm. Clean and homey rooms, suggestions as to were to find music and a pint and a wonderful full breakfast. A tad noisy on the street side but a great experience
