Lovely place to stay on the edge of town. Owner was laid back and relaxed. Hostel had everything you could need. Lovely views of the area. Nice big rooms with a massive bed. Had lots of fun staying here. Yhanks Dinglegate

Very relaxed and friendly. Woodburning stove in lounge area. Good selection dvds. Brian the manager sleepy but very helpful. Take ur own table tennis balls and bats. Quite a way from village but ok with a car. Rooms basic and clean. Shower hot. Has goats and chickens around.

Spend a night camping in the gardens and was really amazed at what good value it was. Had full use of the Hostel for cooking and showers for 8 euro a night! Possibly the cheapest I've stayed anywhere in Ireland. Facilities are basic but clean and it's about a 25 min walk to the South Pole which is definitely worth...

I stayed here with my wife and 3 children the weekend just gone. Perfect for us. Nice big kitchen with lots of gas stoves, cutlery and all the other necessities in the kitchen. The showers were great. Despite a sign saying they took a few minutes to heat up, ours were hot in 30 seconds or less. Beds were really...

Overall, a truly great hostel experience. The only real downside is that it's isolated, a 30 min. walk outside the tiny village of Annascaul. If you know that ahead of time, though, it's really not a problem. The owner was warm, welcoming, and generous. One of the best things about hosteling in Ireland for me is the openness of the...

I stayed here in April 2014 with friends. The hostel is NOT in Dingle, despite it's name, but just outside Annascaul, a village about 20 minutes drive from Dingle. Our room was comfortable and most importantly the shower was hot and clean, unlike some hostels. The kitchen is clean and reasonably well equipped. There is a small cosy lounge with...

This is such a great hostel - a brilliant, upbeat, smiley owner who supplies the place with its own free-range eggs from right outside; very good facilities, including a fantastic shower and quiet (!) rooms that are buffered from corridor noise by an extra internal door; a very well-equipped kitchen; a cosy, super-comfy sitting room with wood-burning stove; and of...

“Rooms at the back have better views, but it's negligible really. We were right over the front door and the sitting room and it was remarkably quiet.”
