My husband and I had the privilege of staying at Whispering Pines in Kenmare for two nights in June. What a lovely place! Kathleen and her mother Mary made us feel so welcome and comfortable. They are truly interested in the guests and how their time is spent. They are wonderful hostesses. Our room was immaculate and spacious and the...

I don't know why I have waited so long to write this review, but now that the high season is approaching for European travel, I want everyone to know about Whispering Pines. (Though I would probably keep it to myself if I thought I would be fortunate enough to return soon). Whispering Pines is a lovely property, immaculately kept and...

Arriving at Whispering Pines B&B, we first noticed Mary's beautiful hydrangeas. Her suggestion to drive counterclockwise around the Ring of Kerry allowed us to enjoy the countryside and not meet a single tour bus! It was a short walk from the B&B to good food and music. If you are headed to Kenmare, Whispering Pines is a great place to...

Stayed just one night at this lovely place. Mary and her daughter are so warm and welcoming. Just grand. Wonderful breakfast the next morning. The room was small but well organized. Very close to the main street of Kenmare and also close to the harbor.

From the moment we first arrived, Mary made us feel right at home. This bed and breakfast is spotless. The decorating in the room was pretty and we felt like pampered guests. There is a tea pot for coffee or tea in the room. The room was not large, but we only used it for sleeping, as we were seeing...

We loved our four-day stay with Mary at Whispering Pines. She runs a splendid B&B. The rooms are very comfortable. Mary’s superb breakfasts will keep you going until dinner time. It’s an easy three-minute walk into downtown Kenmare, which has many fine restaurants and excellent shops. We used Kenmare as a base for day trips to the Ring of Kerry,...

Mary and her daughter, Kathleen, are excellent hosts! Mary greeted us with a pot of tea and cookies. Both ladies were so friendly and helpful. Our lovely first floor room had a very comfortable bed and it was quiet for a good night's sleep. It's an easy walk to town from Whispering Pines. Don't pass this B&B up.

Mary and her daughter could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Home baked goodies, excellent breakfast and a 5 minute walk to downtown. Comfortable bed, a good shower, and parking off street within steps of the front door, perfect!

It doesn't surprise me that Whispering Pines and Mary Fitzgerald have 57 perfect reviews (soon to be 58). We stayed one night and wish we could have stayed more. The house is about a 2 minute walk from downtown meaning you are really close to amenities but you will also be able to get a good night sleep. Breakfast was...

We had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines. A warm welcome by Mary with homemade fresh goodies to eat. We had a lovely room on the 1st floor, very light and airy. The breakfast was oh so good. I can't say enough nice things about the lovely ladies, Mary and Kathleen. The location is a nice short walk to the...
