After staying at some very nice bed and breakfast along the Kerry Way with my 3 teenage sons, The Lodge was an unexpected surprise. It felt luxurious with beautiful, spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. The entrance itself is very elegant, as well as the breakfast room with it´s large windows overlooking an amazing, well kept garden of flowers. The breakfast was...

There is little out of place in the Lodge and it possibly churlish to find fault in accommodation that is spotless and well furnished. Maybe it is unrealistic to expect a sense of welcome and warmth but this is certainly lacking. No open fire in the sitting room. Sound insulation not great - bathroom use all too easy to hear...

This is a lovely B&B that's in a good location to see the Ring of Kerry of Killarney National Park. The rooms are spacious with wonderful furnishings. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very warm and friendly. This feels more like a small hotel than a B&B. We had an excellent stay.

We had gone for a drive around the Beara Peninsula, and ended up in Kenmare by the early-evening. We both had the flu, and needed a place rest and recuperate. If you're heading to Kenmare in February, know that many of the places to stay are closed during weekdays. Thankfully The Lodge had a vacancy. The owner quickly fired up...

We loved our stay at The Lodge in Kenmare. The staff were very warm and friendly, particularly the owner, Rosemary, who also provided some great travel tips. The room was immaculate and comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

Rose and her staff were very welcoming and made our stay . Hotel is of a very high standard and would thoroughly recommend it . Very clean and spacious rooms with all facilities - wi-fi etc . Excellent location for the lovely town of Kenmare and the beautiful Kerry and West Cork areas.

This was a surprise to find a sort of Prairie style small hotel with elegant Victorian interior decor and furniture. We enjoyed our stay and they provided an excellent full Irish breakfast. Good location.

Arrived after difficult drive in torrential rain. No advance booking. Sean, Rosemarie's son was very help full and arranged a one night stay. Contrary to other reviews he helped upstairs to our very spacious room. Rosemarie is a delightful host with some wonderful tips regarding local sights and drives. Her advice regarding the drive around the Ring of Beara, was...

This was a lovely lodge situated close to Kenmare town for easy walking. Two complaints: Rooms are on upper level and no one there to help carry our luggage upstairs or down and there is no lift. A nice, older gentleman who was a guest there helped me bring the bag down upon checkout. The girl at the desk just...

We were immediately warmly greeted by Rosemarie as we arrived for our three night stay. Family members traveling with us had taken ill shortly before our arrival and Rosemarie was incredibly helpful when it became apparent that a doctor's visit was in order. All staff went out of their way to make things easier on the four of us as...
