We stayed on the second floor, which I would recommend. The staff was friendly and warm and accommodating. We ate breakfast every morning - decent selection to choose from and we ate dinner there a couple of nights as well. Food was decently priced and the portions were good and delicious. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, great water...

Stayed here on Business and what a pleasure. It's a family run hotel and my room, 111 was perfect. Extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in the centre of town and close to all pubs and restaurants. The hotel bar has live music and Irish dancing which is a fantastic. I was checked in by Emma and Ann...

My first impression of the hotel was good as it had a great location & looked nice from the outside. I should have walked away when we went in to find out the cost & they told us it was 70 euro per person (there were 2 of us). Why do hotels do this? Makes no sense to me. The...

After a lengthy visit touring all the major peninsulas of South West Ireland we found the lovely village of Kenmare, in Kerry, and the Lansdowne Arms Hotel. This is one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip. Anne at reception was especially welcoming and all her recommendations were spot on. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast...

We recently stayed at this hotel with a number of extended family members. Our room was as good as we expected although the shower was impossible to operate. (Why do so many hotels have difficult showers?) Breakfast was excellent but the staff, in particular the night barman, were absolutely superb. Wonderful people who do the hotel great credit.

We recently had a pub lunch at the Lansdowne Arms Hotel in Kenmare. There were 3 of us, and we all had the roast pork. Service was good, nice portion of pork & gravy. Plenty of vegetables, but they were only luke-warm. Sadly, no apple-sauce was available with the roast pork!! We asked for it when our meal was served,...

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to stay here but did stay late in the bar two nights & I have to say the hospitality supplied by this hotel is outstanding. The young blonde girl serving us was truly a great friendly employee, with people coming & going from the table as we are a big family she made such each...

Sorry to say that after a 6 day trip around Southern Ireland this was a disappointing stay. All the places I stayed were all relatively priced but when compared to the rest what I experienced this place is expensive. We stayed in two separate rooms which were massively different. I think the hotel is going through an upgrade and it...
