Comfortable accommodations, outstanding breakfast, perfect hosts . . . What made Therese and John O'Shea's place special for me was that it transported me back to earlier visits to Ireland, visits that enjoyed the special touches at B&Bs that added elegance to the experience, like cloth napkins and table coverings, black and white blood puddings, butter and jams in dishes...

This is a beautiful B and B on the outskirts of Kenmare. Therese was a very warm host, with letting us pick and choose what we would like for breakfast. I liked that it wasn't in the main town with all the other B and B's. It's situated right on the Ring of Kerry and is about 30 minutes away...

What a treat to stay at this B & B. For whatever reason, it was not in our guidebook, but thank goodness it was recommended to us by a B & B where we had stayed the previous evening. The location is absolutely lovely, and how nice to feel you are in a country setting yet so close to town....

The perfect B&B after a road trip around Ring of Kerry. It is 1.5 km from town center and the host Therese was very friendly from the very first moment. The room was very good and clean with all the services and Wi-Fi. The breakfast was very good and the scones were homemade in the same morning, which i took...

We made our reservation only the morning of our stay and arrived late due to being a little lost, but Therese welcomed us at the door like a dear friend. She recommended an excellent restaurant for us hungry travellers, and even volunteered to give us a lift to Mass the next morning. We stayed three days and followed several of...

We enjoyed our one night stay at this B&B. It was quiet, clean and provided us with everything we needed. They have wi-fi in all areas and the breakfast was very good. We especially appreciated their help in booking another B&B for the following night. We discovered during our stay in Ireland that it seemed that the hosts knew of...

When another local bed and breakfast failed to honor our reservation because they had failed to mark it in the book, Therese stepped in and saved the day. The breakfast and the inn at Ceol Na Habhann were perfect and my family had a wonderful stay for two nights. Therese's kind hospitality and helpful suggestions immediately erased our unhappiness regarding...

Pretty place, 2km from the center of Kenmare, very quiet. The room was cosy and very clean, and a special mention for the Irish breakfast, the pancakes and the SCONES (everything homemade). The O'Sheas are welcoming and they helped us when our car broke down, what a journey ! We will remember the hospitality of Irish Kerry people. :)

My family of four and I stayed at O'Sheas during a recent visit to the Kenmare area. We were able to arrange our visit with Therese beforehand and were able to stay in a room that easily held our family. The room was extremely accommodating in terms of size and overall square footage. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, spacious and...

Even though I made my reservation months in advance AND confirmed via email prior to my trip, I was informed I had no room and was set up with another establishment. Thankfully, the other B&B was a great stay.
