Very clean, modern room and furniture, beautiful bed, quiet, close to shops just a short stroll! A nice cold small swimming pool - perfect to cool down in. You can't cook in there but it's a really nice and clean bbq just outside you can cook on. The microwave works very well though for heating food and stuff. We had a great stay!!

Our after hours check in was so easy. The room was spotlessly clean. Remote controls wrapped in cling wrap. Nice to have a full size fridge in the kitchenette. New quiet split unit air conditioners. We used the Bar-B-Q which was close to our room. So handy to have a large shopping center a few minutes walk down the road. If you're looking for a fairly priced Motel this could be the one.

Paradise Court Motel is a small quiet motel. The rooms are clean and neat with kitchenettes, clothes line. Good location, easy walking distance to shops and a pub. Longer walk (3 km) to Airlie on the boardwalk. Very reasonable price. Three night stay a good idea.

Stayed at the paradise on an overnight stop before heading to Hamilton island.
Arrived and followed Covid check in, easily getting into the very clean and spacious (for the Price) room.
Will be staying again when we visit again.

My Mother, in her 80's, has spent a month at Paradise Court every winter, to escape Melbourne's cold weather, for more than 15 years, as Monica and Paul are welcoming and very helpful.
The location is ideal, across the road from the Whitsunday shopping centre with Coles, a number of shops and cafes. A large park good for strolling is in walking distance. There is a bus stop close by to go to Airlie Beach, so no car is required to stay here.
The unit is clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and meets all requirements.
Well done to Monica and Paul for looking after their guests in many ways including booking tours to the islands and the barrier reef.

I arrived at hotel expecting views and beach.. no beach in sight. Pictures of hotel pool deceptive pool very small.. we referred to it as the bathtub.
Guests comings and goings are monitored on CCTV .. no privacy. Management unfriendly .. I after 3 nights I cancelled my reservation and moved to the BIG4 caravan park.. Service was friendly and accommodation far superior... I would NOT recommend the Paradise Court holiday units!!

Dear Kim M, Your online reservation form and your completed registration form was filled in by yourself as having 1 Adult and 1 Child under 14 years of age in the room and you were aware that our prices are based on how many people are staying in the room. After 3 nights of noticing 4 people staying in the room and plenty of time for yourself to come forward and register the extra guests, I approached you as to how many people are actually staying in the room and finally after mentioning the carpark cctv you acknowledged. You took offence to this and checked out. Paul & Monica 9 June 2012

Stayed here for two nights, welcome reception from host when I arrived who explained various things for my stay which was good.
The room was ok - it was tired, old a/c which was very noisy and I couldn't sleep because of the noise so turned it off. Funky smell from Shower area but I can handle that, however the towels need replacing.
Had a decent nights sleep so all in all it was ok.
I have marked this down due to a bad experience on checkout. My flight was not until later in the afternoon on the day of departure and I also slept in slightly. Checkout was 10am and I enquired at this time if I could get a late checkout which I would pay for. This would allow me to take my time getting packed and also get a shower after being in the sun before leaving. I have been in about 20 hotels in the past 3 months and this has not been a problem. I was told that they were fully booked for the night so I said give me 40 mins to get a shower and get my things packed.
Housekeeping gentleman (I think the owner ) chapped the door and I explained I would be out asap. He then chapped again about 15 mins later and said "I need you out of this room in the next few mins, we are very busy today". Not the way I want to spoken to as a customer. I got my things together and left.
Out of curiosity I checked online to find that they were not fully booked that night and had rooms available so could accommodate my late checkout. Seems to me they. Couldn't be bothered trying to accommodate me and already had my cash!
So all in all, average room, decent location , good service to start but terrible at the end.
Not a great experience.

Response from Paul A, Manager at Paradise Court
Responded 15 Oct 2016
Hi Alan, Thanks for your feedback. I remember you well and your story is dramatically different to how I remember it. We always try to accommodate early arrivals or late check-outs as the situation dictates. Here are the facts: We had return elderly guests booking into your room, they requested an early check-in to which we agreed as we had no knowledge of your intended late check-out on a Sunday, which we only found out after waking you up after 10.40am. You then said you would be out in 10mins, well after another 1/2 hour I did knock on your door again, only to be told the same thing again, you will be out in 10mins and the words I used were "Sorry, but we really need this room as we are extremely busy with many check-outs and are fully booked." And fully booked we were as it was peak season with school holidays and Chinese national holidays. I would suggest that if you know you would like a late check-out, advise the accommodation establishment a little earlier than past the last minute. Rgds
