We just spent 3 nights here over the September school holidays. This resort is outstanding in every way!
Arrival: we arrived 2 hours before check-in, planning on just leaving our bags at reception. The front desk immediately contacted housekeeping and prioritised our cabin - and texted us within 20 minutes to tell us we could check in early!
Cabin: we booked a studio cabin - that had a queen bed and bunk beds. The cabin was absolutely spotless. It had everything we needed, and they had even provided milk and a packet of Tim Tams in the fridge to welcome us!
Facilities: where do I start! A fantastic pool (with varying depths), a large water park with water slides (including an area for little ones), mini golf, jumping pillows, a playground, petting zoo, tennis courts, badminton courts, outdoor cinema, the ability to hire games, pool towels, etc. This place has it all! Everything was clean, well maintained and in great condition.
Activities: they had a fantastic activities schedule, with activities for kids and adults. There was SO much on offer - including a kids disco on our final night! I loved that they also sent reminder texts of the various activities that were on (and food trucks that were visiting that day/evening).
The owners/management of this resort put so much love and care into everything they offer here - they genuinely want you to have a fantastic stay, and their attention to details and the 'little things' is next level!
We cannot wait to come back here again and highly recommend this resort as a place to visit!

We stayed in one of the cabins and were very impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness - a big upgrade from the tent camping that were used to. The kids (2 5-year-olds) loved the bunkbeds and the 4 adults enjoyed the other 2 bedrooms. The kitchen was well-equipped with a full-size fridge, microwave, oven/hotplates, and dishwasher. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The waterpark provided hours of entertainment for the kids. They also enjoyed the mini golf and go-karts. A great place for families with kids.

Really friendly staff, kids had a great time at the on-site water park. The site is a 10-minute walk from a large supermarket and some fast food places should you need them and the local bus to Airlie Beach goes from right outside the site and only costs $0.50 each way per person. We had to book an extra night when our flight got cancelled just as we were about to leave the site and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

This park has fantastic facilities and a great entertainment program for both children and adults. The amenities are extremely clean. The tropical gardens are bountiful and beautiful, and we'll maintained by the ground staff. Entering Reception is like stepping into a beautiful resort, and the reception staff are very friendly. There is a couple of good supermarkets, shops, takeaway options and a service station very close by, and the park is only 10 minutes from main street Airlie Beach. We stayed for 2 weeks and highly recommend this park to everyone.

We stayed in a “Studio Apartment” or studio cabin which was very clean and comfortable for 2 people. The cabin was well set up with everything needed for self-catering and a comfortable bed. The area around the cabin was very quiet and was well maintained. A massive “Waterslide Park” and other nearby activities would be great for children. The pool was also a good size and easily accessed. A car would generally be needed to travel around Airlie Beach, although other transport is available. A bistro in the Reef Gateway Hotel over the road offered great meals and a Woolworths and other stores were within about 900 metres walking from the resort. Food services, from ‘food trucks’ such as a Pizza night were available in the park on given nights.

Teriffic location & on-site facilities but we were really impressed with the wheelchair accessible cabin which sleeps up to 6. Very comfortable with a ramp for easy access and fully accessible bathroom 10/10

We had such a great time from the moment we arrived. Really easy checkin and generous sized camping spots. Ensuite sites are clean! Kids can easily ride their push bikes are in a safe environment. Slides were fantastic for both kids and adults. Lots of free activities also! Mini golf, outdoor cinemas, etc. Kids never complained about being bored once (hallelujah!) 10000/10 take mozzie spray, coils, etc. Staff were nothing but kind! Overall 10/10 and will be back one day!

We booked the 3 bedroom Condo , 4 Adults ,2 children , 7 nights over Christmas , The condo was very clean and had all that we needed . The kids had so much to do we did not have to spend another cent to entertain them . Adults had a great time as well . Staff were outstanding , so friendly and helpful and always seemed happy to help with any questions . Everything was amazing . My wife and I stayed at BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort, Cannonvale where we had an ensuite slab site for our caravan. The ensuite was in fairly good condition with no problems. The site was quite long and we had no difficulty parking.
The park has a pool complex and lots of activities for children. Therefore, there were lots of young families with little children in the park.
There are shops in walking distance of the park, with groceries, chemist and other specialties. There are also a number of caravan, camping and fishing stores in the complex.
There is a free shuttle bus to Northerlies Beach Bar & Grill where you can get a good meal and drinks.
Overall we give BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort, 4½ stars out of 5.

With only two days off I was unable to book the minimum night stay so thought I’d try my luck with a quick phone call to see if they could fit me in for one night. The reservation lady was so helpful and accommodating which I was extremely grateful for. We had an amazing time in the waterpark, playing mini golf, eating ice cream and also enjoyed an open air movie. They had a gold coin donation for pancake breakfast the next day to help raise money for a little girl Rosie with a rare condition. Will definitely be back the staff are all amazing and the park well maintained.

Best to ring the park & check with Reception as to what bookings are.Power sites fit all size vans & are very good.Park is kept lovely & is huge.Great pool area with lot's of slides.
