This time we stayed in the new Baros Suite (207) and loved it!!! As usual Baros is one of the top resorts in the Maldives and the quality in ebery respect very high. We had a lovely stay, first time we tried the Baros delights (all inclusive). This is a HUGE improvement to an already lovely island. The inclusions are in general very generous I would suggest adding a few more cocktails to the list (classics like margarita and pina colada maybe?) otherwise great. Azzam took great care of us and all the staff are kind and helpful. Extra love for the fantastig girls working in Lighthouse lounge!! Far away enough from Male to be peaceful, great housereef, great food and so on. The whole island is a tropical garden, the upkeep must be crazy! I want to give Baros an extra compliment for the way the accomodation and facilities are maintained. Even though it is ca 16 years since the "new" Baros opened, it does not feel run down at all. Well done!! If you want to have a look at Baros suite and more have a look at some videos on my youtube, look for Linda Lundmark. In summary a safe bet for lovers of style and class and beauty and genuine Maldivian hospitality. A sunset from the Lighthouse lounge is like no other sunset!!! WE adore Baros and will be back for #8 Love Linda&Björn #maldivesbug

We returned to Goa - India after spending 5 nights at the Baros resort in the Maldives. This was our first holiday since the pandemic lockdown and we couldn't have picked a finer location. From the meet and greet at the airport and a short boat ride to the resort, our holiday was off to a perfect start. Baros is one of the older resorts in the Maldives. The staff have fine tuned their service to an almost perfect level. Ms Yumna was the concierge assigned to our room and she made sure all our needs were met. Nothing was impossible. Domi Astuti - the Guest Experience Manager was not only efficient but also effective and her charm and grace not just to us but to all the guests at the resort was noteworthy and commendable. The resort manager Shijah clearly steers a wonderful ship. Humble and modest in his interactions with guests Shijah brings an understated efficiency to the resort which is wonderful to behold. As the manger, he deserves the compliments this resort receives. My compliments to the Housekeeping staff for their service and keeping the rooms spotlessly clean. The resort offers one of the finest snorkelling within the incredible in-house reef. We look forward to our next visit. Mariam & Himmat Sandhu

Everything about Baros Maldives is extraordinary! We decided to chose Baros because of the reviews on every booking sites and because we were with our daughter and we wanted to stay on the safe side considering medical access . The resort is only 20 minutes by boat from Male airport. The location is fabulous, the House reef is so amazing. Just a few steps from the villa and you can snorkel with tunas, sharks or stingrays! We stayed in a Baros beach villa the first six nights and in a water villa the last night. I don't know what to recommend first because it is a different experience. The villa is great for the beach in front of it, the garden and the terrace , the sand and the trees. Water villa gives you the spectacle of marine fauna; every moment on the terrace is a spectacle. The diving spots are close and fantastic! Maldives is like paradise , but the real difference is made by the stuff! Such client care and customer oriented people I never saw previously. From the moment you step out of the airport till the moment you have to departure, somebody is always taking care of your needs. Many thanks to Rifaau, our villa host , who made this holiday so amazing. Ally , the dive master from diving center , in his very relaxed and caring attitude , gave us incredible diving moments! I am sorry I don't remember everybody's name as everybody was great. The fine dining at Lighthouse and Cayenne was a nice surprise. One evening the kids wanted lava cake for desert and it was not on the menu. The chef just made it especially for the kids. We had our wedding anniversary and we had a surprise cake , champagne and the room decorated with flowers! I don't have enough words to recommend this resort so I only want to say thank you to everybody at Baros and for the people who want to visit Madives, choose Baros with confidence.

Phew!!! Baros Maldives is amazing. I cannot describe the whole experience in words. Well it was our (Me and My Wife) First ever visit to Maldives and choosing a Resort was the hardest part and luckily I choose Baros randomly and I cannot be happier anymore with my decision. Baros is luxurious, serene and simply mind blowing. Everythng was just perfect. The Welcome, the whole stay, the villas, the amazing pictures, the beach, and even the see off was truly beautiful. We were welcomed by their manager and our host villa one and only, the ever smiling, Ms Yumna with a refreshing drink. First two nights were booked in Water pool Villa and it was simply amazing and private. The kind of serenity and privacy u will get in Water pool villa cannot be described in words. It has to be experienced personally. Next two nights were booked in Baros Suite which is Beach villa with a pool and again it was the most luxurious villa and the beautiful beach is right infront of the villa. Ms Yumna was always a watsapp txt away and she was really available 24/7. She took care of each and everythng and we never felt like in a strange place. She made us feel at home and whenever we needed something, she was there for us. All the staff of Baros is soooo hospitable and polite and they will make u feel special at the resort. The most beautiful meal was our breakfast on 3rd day which Ms Yumna arranged on Piano deck in the middle of ocean and it was spectacular. We never experienced such tranquility and serenity. We were a bit apprehensive regarding food and taste but to our surprise, their food is simply amazing. All the restaurants and Chefs are doing an excellent job keeping in mind the variety of nationalities they are catering, it is simply amazing and astounding. They surprised us with a beautiful gift while departure and made us even more happy and oblidged. I would say it is an expensive resort but truly its worth every penny. You will get the best value of each and every penny. I surely recommend Baros to everyone whole heartedly and it was really a place not to be forgotten ever. We will surely go back to Baros. Seven stars for the their hospitality and service. Keep it up Baros team. Love u guys. You are AMAZING.

This was a real hidden gem of a resort and we had the trip of our lives here! The four days seemed magical in this luxurious resort where we felt spoilt in our villa, felt like we were in a movie while snorkelling, the food was just amazing and the staff were simply outstanding!! We stayed at one of the overhanging water villas (room 316) which came with a pool and which had direct access to the Ocean. It was beyond spectacular and if we were to do it again (and I’m sure we would be back, we’d book exactly the same villa again). We’d highly recommend you take a package that includes at least breakfast and dinner. One dinner at the Lighthouse restaurant is a must! Apart from the gourmet food, the ambience is spectacular as you see several sharks in the water from where you sit by the water. We didn’t go diving but honestly didn’t miss it as the snorkelling is just out of this world!! Carry your own snorkelling mask and protective shoes so that you are free to swim in the ocean at your whim and fancy. We are all water babies and we spent hours in fascination swimming with fish and sharks in the incredible in-house reef!! You don’t need to sign up for any of their snorkelling trips as it’s super easy to do this yourself. The best snorkelling was near the garden cafe. Just follow their walls and you will be simply amazed!! Highly recommend this resort which I believe is a cut above anything else I’ve ever seen!! It’s a boutique gem!

Yes you can. Baros Delight. It costs about $200 -250pp per day - depends on what rate your agent can get. It sounds a lot, but after visiting Baros six times over the years and tried all their dining options, we worked out it would be worth it for us.......and it was. It includes breakfast at Lime, lunch at Lime or Sails Bar and dinner at Lime or Cayenne, with dinner at the Lighthouse every four nights. There's a selection of beers, cocktails, wines; including Prosecco, and premium spirits. The minibar in the room isn't included, although we negotiated to have soft drinks from there included. It also includes speciality nights dinner. We are wine drinkers and there was a good selection of reds, whites and rose wines to choose from. Have a look at the resort's website and their menus and work out roughly if you think it would be worth it for you. Remember there is a 23% tax added to all for and drink. They also add other things, for example a free trip, nature walk, but if you mail the resort, they'll send you details of what's included in Baros Delight and you can see if you think it's worth it, for you, or whether opting for B
