We stayed here on a walking holiday. Rooms have a very pleasant view over the hazelnut groves - harvest was taking place when we visited. Dinner was very high quality and wine list extensive. Very friendly welcome and comfortable room. A really pleasant place to stay and explore this region - dining at the hotel is a must.

The highlight of this place is the very well prepared dinner. A number of selections available from a diverse menu offering different choices than available at most of the restaurants we have dined at in the Piedmont. The rooms are clean and comfortable though the walls between the rooms are not as quieting as at most other hotels. The hotel...

The hotel is simple, and somehow comfortable. Bad part is that it charges for the internet. It stays in a tiny city at the Cuneo province. The city was the creator of the "nocciole" (hazelnuts) cultivation in the region. The proprietary is very nice and friendly and himself is responsible for almost everything, including the restaurant. In the restaurant, if...

Spent one night here during a walking holiday. Received a warm welcome from the owner and were shown to a comfortable spacious room. Our only criticism of the accommodation was that it was a bit on the chilly side. The central heating did eventually come on but not until 7.45 and as we were dining at 8.00 that was a...

We spent 2 nights here with friends to enjoy the Alba Truffle festival as we had previously stayed a night on a self-guided walking holiday in the area. The rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms. The restaurant of course is superb. Cravanzana is a tiny village but it is a beautiful area and a good base for day trips.

We stayed here while making a hiking tour and this was one of the highlights of our trip. Da Maurizio has a really first class restaurant with a wonderful wine cellar. Friendly, helpful people. This is a special place!

We stayed at Maurizio's for one night on our way from Tuscany to Turin. The hotel room was very comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The dinner was excellent. The setting is beautiful with a view over the hazelnut orchards. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone who wants a nice quiet stay in the country and a great...

We were on a self guided walking trip in the Piedmont area. Cravanzana is a small village clustered around a hilltop castle. The 2 start albergo has 12 rooms. Ours was very nice but the main reason to be here was the very excellent food. We had and would very much recommend that degustation. If the weather is nice (it...
