No cell phone reception guaranteed that good old fashioned conversation and laughs were had by all ! The surrounding nature with the quaint cottage and friendly pets that came to visit, made us wish for just some extra time to enjoy it all. Will be back !

Dear Mandy Many thanks for your kind words, much appreciated. So glad to hear that you had such a great time with us. Looking forward to hearing from you again in the near future. The Klein Karoo is a garden of earthly delights, and well worth a return visit.

Thank you Ashley and Andre for affording us this memorable experience of staying at Wolverfontein. It certainly was a different experience, very pleasant and one which we shall certainly recommend to our friends and family. Such a pity we never got to actually see the Barn Owl. Many thanks.

We stayed in D'Waenhuis. A cottage with a stoep, that is how it should be ! Very comfortable accommodation. Andre and Ashley are there to assist at all times and yet one feels as if you are on your own farm watching the sun go down after a beautiful Karoo day. We had a great time. Be careful of ticks,...

So many thanks for your kind words regarding our accommodation, much appreciated. We are sorry to hear that Nadia fell prey to tick bite fever, we hope that she has fully recovered from this. Tick are prevalent across South Africa, especially in after high rain fall. Thankfully it is a treatable ailment, and hopefully we will see you back on...

Beautiful settings, very nice accommodation, well decorated and friendly hosts. Many accommodations out there could take some lessons out of Ashley and Andre! I will definitively stay again in Wolverfontein!

We were a couple with our two city doggies who absolutely loved the open space and farm atmosphere. It is a great place to recoup your energy from city life and there is enough outdoor activities e.g. hiking, cycling. The cottage was comfortable and the hosts are very welcoming.

Andre and Ashley have been amazing hosts. We stayed in D'Warnhuis which is charming in it's on right. In the morning, the sun rays warm and brighten the place through the big kitchen windows. Swim, run, hike, MTB or go to the game reserve next door where you can view buffalos, zebras and giraffes. There is no cellphone coverage from...

We have stayed here several times on our annual trip to and from the Western Cape and wouldn't choose anywhere else. The peace and quiet, friendly reception we always get, the birds, flowers and of course the dogs.

A perfect getaway for the family, no cell reception so no reason to be on phones, laptops, iPads etc just nature and peace and quiet. The owners are very hospitable, making sure you have everything you need. The kids loved playing with the dogs who are very child friendly and only around if you want them to be. We will...

This is the second time we have stayed at Wolverfontein in the Waenhuis. The Waenhuis is perfect for couples. Loved the soft linen and puffy duvet. The best is just to sit on the stoep and listen to the sugar birds in the morning and evening while drinking filter coffee with condense milk and eating buttermilk risks.. The stars are...

It was a pleasure to stay the night at A & A's lovely and peaceful Wolverfontein farm. It is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the Garden Route, and boasts a private game reserve next door. We were there with our seven-year old son, who loved the wide porch, friendly dogs, and curious light switches. My...
