A must-stay B&B, with unrivalled views and wonderful hosts! We stayed overnight at Summer Lodge to attend a River Cottage dining event - the B&B is only a short distance away from River Cottage, and ideally located to explore some beautiful beaches and seaside towns. We slept in The Linney - our own little haven situated in the lush grounds....

Thank Tim for your excellent hospitality. We had a most comfortable three nights in a beautiful location. The room and breakfast were brilliant and you even organised some of the best weather we have ever experienced in late October.

Very welcoming! The room was sumptuous and the surroundings beautiful. Our host was friendly and made us feel very at home and welcome. Great cooked breakfast too! With lots of local information about the area.

Stayed in the 'Balcony room' A large room with lovely views.. Rather disappointed that you can't actually use the balcony though! Bathroom quirky with the bath area painted in a Roman? style. Not to my taste and really needs a good dust in the corners! Shower was great though. Bed large and comfortable. Usual kettle/tea/coffee/biscuits. Fresh milk not UHT. Approach...

My wife and I stayed at Summer Lodge last week when we stayed 4 nights in the balcony room. It was very nice and extremely peaceful. Tim's wife was away but, in her absence, Tim did a splendid job in putting up with us, I mean looking after us!! The bed was very comfortable and the room was one of...

Booked 2 nights here and just loved the entire experience. We stayed in The Linney - Devon for shed. This accommodation is in the garden and far from a shed! King size bed with two wing armchairs, a cosy ensuite and a devk to enjoy the summer nights. Tim was a great host and the full English breakfast was fabulous....

Breakfast was brilliant cooked and continental and our hosts were so friendly and full of advice and suggestions to help us out. Really reasonably...

We stayed for one night in the ' music room' but could have stayed a lot longer if we had time. Our hosts were more than welcoming. The room is very spacious and spotlessly clean. The shower is super powerful and a great start to the day. The breakfast was cooked to order and plentiful to boot. We would recommend...
