Shame we didn't see anyone as wanted to look at the hall for another trip but no one around, met a lovely local man who gave us info on the now derelict Riber castle.Settings beautiful, great for walking. The hall gardens are beautiful&the conservatory&kitchen look very useful(we didnt use). A list of eating places locally was useful. Only a phone no.for...

Just spent two wonderful nights at Riber Hall Stables apartment. The four poster bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The ensure room had kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and sink-everything that you would need. There is also a lovely garden and conservatory. Great walking country with fabulous views. Wifi doesn't work in some rooms,...

Lovely old building full of character situated in a nice quiet spot at the top of a large hill. Lots of areas to walk locally and a short drive to local pubs and shops so location was excellent. Had a good night's sleep in the comfortable 4 poster bed. Sleeping area kitchen and bathroom were all very clean and had...

The Riber Hall experience we had was much better than anyone thought it would be. Everything is well equipped to a high standard. We had 7 adults, 2 teenagers and 5 children from 2 to 10 years of age and there was something for everyone to do. There is plenty of space to do things together or find peace and...

I wish I could have given this 5 stars. We went for a hen do. Lovely location and lovely accommodation it is just a little unloved. It was the little things that could have been easily fixed. Lamp share not on and broken. Light bulb not in the lamp. Tennis court needs a tidy up.

This was great if you want privacy and relaxation. The room was a good size and the bed was gorgeous. Cleaning could be improved a bit there was a bit of dust and cobwebs. The kitchenette had everything we needed for simple self catering. The conservatory and gardens for guest use are an added bonus and the area is very...

Visited midweek and stayed in apartment which completely lived up to expectations. Enjoyable Jacuzzi bath (even if it took an age to fill), great little kitchen setup and comfortable bed. Sure, the odd crack in terms of decoration, but adds to the realness felt in this location. Garden at the back and views across the surrounding country are stunning. Directions...

We had a birthday celebration and hired the whole house. All 10 bedrooms, conservatory and kitchen. Could not fault the attention to detail the the host provided. Would recommend this place, walks from the door step, pub a good walk down hill and heart ponder coming home but worth it. Thank you Lolly always at the end of the phone...

Myself and 18 friends stayed here for my hen do (the barn has 10 double/twin rooms). We had such a great time. The place seems a bit of a maze when you first get there, there is an upstairs entrance which allows access to all the upstairs rooms and the downstairs entrance leads to a hall of bedrooms, and further...
