    Very nice pub located in the heart of Bakewell. Nice atmosphere, ordered jacket potato and a ploughmans at lunchtime, well priced and staff very friendly. Everything clean and inviting. Would definitely return.

    Called in today and had a hot meat (beef or pork) cob with chips & gravy. Amazing value. There was plenty of meat the gravy was lovely and the chips were so so good. Will definitely be calling in again.

    Best to ring the pub as there is a outdoor market across the road (monday) and it gets busy.
