We stopped 1 night - looking forward to breakfast next morning which was very disappointing - not much choice in cereals, orange juice was not nice, coffee and tea was a disgusting taste - I ordered scrambled egg on toast and the toast was burned and the scrambled egg was the worst I have ever tasted - service was not...

Arrived late on a cold rainy night but hotel was toasty warm and welcoming. Had got a very good deal on a single room but was actually given a double room in the old stable block opposite. Again the room was lovely and warm with a good quality bed, modern and spotlessly clean. Before arriving I had had reservations about...

When we arrived the ramp for access to the side door...

The three course evening meal offered a good choice of for each course, all of which were cooked and presented to a high standard. Breakfast was again excellent with all many choices from cereal, yoghurt , the most enormous...

The double bed was enormous and the little bed set up near one of the windows for our four year old daughter was perfect. One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. The main...

We only called in here on this visit for a drink (could not stay as fully booked) & having stayed here on many occasions it is obvious that money is being invested here which is a good thing- so could not comment on the rooms this time but enjoyed our visit- the manager certainly knows his stuff & was very...

We stayed for a weekend. Our room was in the Courtyard which is separate from the hotel but this was not a problem. The room was large and very modern. The staff were lovely and food excellent. Parking is minimal.

Our group dropped in at lunchtime during a shopping trip to Bakewell. There is a brightly lit bar, large tables, we enjoyed a couple of pints of well kept ale (Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Peak Ales Bakewell Bitter) and a couple of coffees. We didn't eat but food portions we saw looked very generous. A nice relaxing place to while...
