My friend and I stayed on Saturday 20th May. I had booked via a "Wowcher" deal for my friend's birthday. It's the second time I've been to Rudloe Hall and love it! Marco and his design team have greatly changed it over 4 years and I like the new lounge designs which are quirky and modern but in keeping with...

We loved the hotel, beautiful rooms with amazing art collections.Staff very friendly but the whole experience let down by the food,or lack of it.With a famous name attached we expected more. Dinner was such a poor show.We sat down at 7.50pm,by 8.00pm two of the five mains had gone! I had rump of lamb, very ordinary,my husband had ham,egg and chips only...

Surprised to see negative comments. Our stay was a very different experience. We arrived to a warm welcome and taken to our room. On the way we walked past some amazing art; pictures, curios, books and design pieces. Our room was beautiful, respectful of the building but filled with Artifacts to keep you interested for ages! There were some amazing...

We stayed just the one night as an add on to a stay in Bath. The building is gorgeous and the grounds although a work in progress are lovely. We really enjoyed the eclectic unusual style of the house and felt very relaxed there. The food was very good although my husband made the wrong choice of main as it...

Come here for the food. The restaurant can get busy, and when it does, the discordance between restaurant staff and kitchen team is more than apparent. The price is reasonable for the quality of food, but I feel sorry for the restaurant staff that had to deal with the unhappy diners the evening that we were there. It is definitely...

Stayed with my husband for just one night. We were upgraded to the best room in the hotel, which, of course, we were delighted with. Although the room was beautiful it lacked a few bits that we felt it needed. Firstly, there was no television in the room. Not the end of the world, but the website does state every...

I arrived on Friday afternoon to The Rudloe Inn after a hefty 3 and a half hour drive and was pleased to see the beautiful old building shimmering under the sun in all its glory. Unfortunately, that was the best part of the trip. We checked in only to be told that we were staying in the annex a short...

We were warmly welcomed by the staff in Reception who upgraded us at my wife's request to a room in the main house. The room was very spacious, with a large bed and two comfortable armchairs. The huge bathroom had a delightful old style rolltop freestanding bath and the large washbasin was in a similar retro style. The whole premises...

what a spectacular hotel. MPW has exceptional taste with attention to detail which shows as soon as you walk into the hotel. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. Whilst we were there MPW jnr showed us around the grounds, showing he is very passionate about the business and its future. He was...

Seen other comments where people are expecting because it is Marco Pierre White it is going to be a 5 star hotel with outstanding food. It isn't that but i don't think that is what he is trying to achieve. This is very much work in progress. unfortunately didn't stay in the main house but room was adequate and value...
