We had to travel to England for a short break and picked the hollies as it was close to family. Such a lovely b & b so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was scummy. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hollies.

My wife, 6 month old son and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hollies for one night on Saturday the 28th of September 2013. Unfortunately, we arrived and checked in slightly later in the evening as we were travelling back from north Devon, however, the reception we received from Kevin and Susan as we arrived was very warm,...

Thanks for making my wife and I so welcome. Your hospitality and helpfulness made our enjoyment of the area better still. Your B& B is so handily situated with a bus stop right outside the door. We made good use of our bus passes to cover the surrounding district. We wouldnt hesitate to come again to stay at the Hollies,...

We based our overnight stay here based on reviews from Tripadvisor. As you can see this B&B had 100% positive reviews We paid for our room the previous evening £75 for a double room with breakfast. An arrival time of 7pm was requested. Unfortunately we were late arriving at approx 7.45. I knocked on the door only for it to...

Very interesting review. There are always two sides to every story! We are not prepared to retaliate. Please note the contrast to all of our previous reviews.

The Hollies is a wonderful B&B. The rooms have been beautifully furnished (with very comfy beds) and are really clean. The breakfast was excellent too. It is also handily situated for Bath and Lacock Abbey and the owners have a huge amount of local knowledge, so can recommend which pubs and restaurants are worth a visit in the evening.

Four friends , two rooms, one night. Welcoming hosts, showed us to our spotlessly clean rooms on upper floor. The 1800's house was carefully renovated an nicely furnished. A tasty British breakfast is served in the room on ground floor by the owners. Perfect!

My wife and I stayed at The Holies last week. We had a very warm welcome upon arrival and shown to our well furnished and spotlessly clean room. We both had a comfortable night's sleep. The shower was hot and powerful, just as we like it. The locally sourced full English breakfast was superb and the black pudding was the...

This excellent B&B is to be recommended. A warm welcome preceded a really comfortable and spotlessly clean room. The bed was very comfortable and the en suite a perfect complement. Breakfast was first class and sourced from high quality local produce. If you need accommodation in this area, you must stay here! It was excellent value with no compromise in...

Thank you both for a very pleasant stay last weekend. It was great to have somebody else cook the breakfast which was lovely. The room was really nice too. We loved the period feel of the property mixed with all the modern appliances. Thank you as well for recommending a great place to eat in Bath
