Run by a friendly couple. The location of the B & B is a walking distance to Corsham High Street so I got good exercise every evening. The room itself was to a very high standard and very homely. The Internet was excellent and a great breakfast & breakfast room. All for a bargain price.

We stayed at Mead Lodge, at the end of our holiday and so that we could visit family near by. This must be the best B&B we have stayed in. Every little detail has been thought about. Very comfortable bed, wonderful breakfast, cleaner than anywhere we have stayed at before, true luxury. No next little plastic milk containers, but your...

Usually stay in Premier Inns but found this little gem online. Visiting family within a five minute walk this little treasure was ideally placed for us. The room was immaculate, in fact the whole place was. Breakfast would put some bigger hotels to shame. The attention to detail by Cath and Steve is above and beyond what you would expect...

What an amazing stay; exceptional accommodation, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor everywhere, large comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom, fresh cold milk every day (not in sachets), fresh spring water every day, biscuits, choice of quality tea's and coffee's. The breakfasts are wonderful, non greasy full English, lots of fresh fruit, croissants, Danish pastries, choice of ice cooled yoghurts, choice of fruit drinks,...

We stayed at Mead Lodge this weekend whilst in Corsham for a friends' wedding. The BnB is perfectly placed for walking into town and back (around 15/20 mins depending on pre or post party!) The rooms are clean and a good size, bathroom is excellent (shower had decent pressure and water is lovely and soft). Breakfast was hearty and kept...

We have stayed in hotels and B&B's, Travelodges and Premier Inns. This is the best, ever. Cath and Steve have hit the perfect balance of 5* hotel standard, B&B informality and hotel unobtrusiveness. You are not staying in someone's house or home. You are staying in your home without the hassle of cooking and cleaning. Excellent facilities, the best shower...

This was our second visit to Mead Lodge. It left such a good impression the first time and it is well placed to visit a wealth of beautiful places. The BB is immaculate, the rooms are spacious and very well appointed with great bathrooms. We always try to aim for 5 star to make our stays special and this one...

We were very lucky to find the Mead Lodge last minute as we were supposed to be staying at a hotel that we had found through reading the online reviews that stated that it was in Corsham, but which, on the day, turned out to be miles away from Corsham Town where we needed to be for a family funeral....

The rooms are lovely all with ensuite bathrooms and a TV as well as tea/coffee/chocolate and a kettle. Breakfast was great - I...
